Set above an olive grove with sweeping views of the Cote d’Azur, Villa Lorraine is a spacious private villa that is ideal for 2 - 8 people (some rooms can be closed or left open).
The villa is conveniently located in the quaint Provençal village of Opio, in a very calm environment but is just a five minute drive from Valbonne. It is close to the lively seaside towns of Cannes, Antibes, Grasse and is an easy drive away from Nice airport.
Spend your time pool side swimming or taking in the panoramic views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Dine al fresco on the outdoor terrace, or relax indoors in a very comfortable home that has all the modern amenities.
There are four double bedrooms on three different levels. The villa will comfortably sleep a group of adults, a family or an extended family or a group of friends wishing to get away from it all.
If it necessary to work on your vacation, there is an office area where you can set up your laptop.
There’s a large (46”/116cm) LED smart TV, unlimited WiFi internet access, UK free to air satellite TV, and French cable TV which has a selection of foreign channels including BBC World and CNN.
The new kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for your holiday cooking.
Outdoors, there’s a relaxing undercover area for al fresco dining and an outdoor lounge setting to enjoy an apéro while taking in the wonderful views. The villa’s elevated position means it’s perfect to capture the afternoon breezes.
The large pool is equipped with a pool alarm, sun lounges and sun umbrellas. (It can be solar heated at the beginning and end of the season – please ask).
The pool house has a gas BBQ as well as comfy outdoor seating, a table and a shower and toilet.
The garden is terraced with space for children to run around plus there’s an olive grove with about 40 olive trees. A ping-pong table is also available.
In the lounge you’ll find a comprehensive guide listing numerous sporting and cultural activities in the region for all ages and interests.
Pets are generally welcome but please ask!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Lynda, whose kindness and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. The house is simply beautiful, tastefully decorated, and offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Every detail has been carefully thought out to make guests feel at home. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a charming place and impeccable hospitality. We will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful property in Opio. The area is beautiful, the house was excellent, the pool and pool house were fabulous and Lynda and Chris were delightful and could not have been more helpful. Only downside was that we had to leave!!!

We stayed in August during a very hot 35 degrees and it was fantastic to have such a lovely pool to keep us cool and entertained. After a walk to the bakery (20 mins each way), I looked forward to the swim as a reward. The property is on a hill with beautiful views and a nice breeze coming off the sea. You can just about see Antibes and Cannes and you get a nice fireworks display during August. The villa has plenty of space and different seating areas. We loved reading in the pool/BBQ outdoor house and eating outside at the table overlooking the pool. You definitely need a car but we found a lovely restaurant in Opio that is just about walkable (15 mins) We were a family of 4 so there is plenty of room and the ground and 1st floor bedrooms are comfortable and have a/c. The shower in the main ground floor bedroom was the best and the whole family preferred using that. Tbh, we didn't like the downstairs bedroom as it felt like a basement. The owners live in this house and move out when it is rented (rather than it being designed as a rental) and as a result, everything works and flows well. If you are looking for a villa near Opio I would certainly look at this one.

We really enjoyed our brief stay in Chris and Lyndas beautiful house. The house is in a perfect location, secluded, with amazing views out over unspoilt countryside as far as the sea, while also being conveniently situated for local shops, amenities and visitor attractions. It is immaculately presented, with every attempt made to make guests feel welcome and completely at home. Whether you want a peaceful break away from it all, or a centre for visiting the local area, this is the perfect place!
