About this house rental
This custom built home is located on 70 private acres surrounded by National Forest. It has 4 bedrooms and a private den with a queen size bed (all located on the second floor) and 5 1/2 bathrooms which consist of 4 en suites, with one of them having access from hallway for guest staying in the den and loft. 3 of the bedrooms have king size beds, the den has a queen size bed and the fourth bedroom has 2 twin over full bunks with twin trundle beds, and an extra twin bed next to the bunks. There is also a loft area at the top of the stairs the has 2 twin size beds. Please see pictures of layout for more detail.
The first floor has an open floor plan with kitchen, 3 separate seating areas, large dining room, and very large mudroom with full bath and laundry. The sitting room off of the kitchen has a wood burning fireplace and is perfect for relaxing while waiting for dinner. The great room has 35 foot ceilings with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace connected to family room with a large sectional and 55" TV.
The finished basement is perfect for kids and adults with its large bar, dart board, ping pong, and pool table as well as a huge sectional and a large 65" TV.
There is full wifi network throughout the house which also allows access to the SONOS stereo system located throughout 1st floor, basement and decks.
Close to 6 Southern VT ski resorts.

We highly recommend this house & the owner! The house was better than VRBO’s description. There were 2 dishwashers, 2 washers/2 driers, a large frig w/separate freezer in the kitchen, & standard frig/freezer in garage. There were plenty of mugs. glasses, plates, & flatware to serve our group of 16. While not all of us ate cereal in the morning, house was a little shy of cereal bowls. As for things left behind by others, we found quite a few condiments & spices, as well as salt/pepper--that was a very pleasant surprise. There was plenty of laundry soap for our group too. There were plenty of towels & linens, and all the beds were very comfortable.During our July visit, the weather was warm and muggy, but the fans provided throughout were adequate to make the stay comfortable (as a reminder, there is no A/C). While highs hit the mid 80's almost every day, night temps were in the low 60's. Because of that, the owner encouraged us to open all the windows & doors to cool the house down (all windows & all but 1 door were screened to keep the bugs out). The lower & upper screened patios were nice in the evenings from the evening breeze. The basement game room was ALWAYS cool!This house is at the end of the road, so the only people that showed up at the base of the driveway were a few hikers for the trail into the national forest. The grounds around the house were well kept too.Lastly, the owner worked with us to get us into the house on our timing–big thanks on that!

Exceeded expectation by a wide margin. House is something to behold and the owners did everything possible to see that we enjoyed it. We will be back.
