On the ground floor is the heated swimming pool with deckchairs and a garden furniture surrounded by flowers.
Upstairs a large terrace for dining, and inside a living room: living room with a convertible sofa and its fireplace, dining area and new fully equipped kitchen.
On the second floor, two bedrooms, shower room and separate WC.
This house has just been renovated and updated.

Lovely spot in a picturesque hamlet. Clean (although not spotless) and quiet bit could use some touch-ups. Unfortunately there is wifi only in dining room, and beware: no A/C! We were there during some hotter days (33-35 C), and it was almost unbearable inside. We bought an additional fan so that we had two, running all night in the bedroom, which is on the second floor under the roof. It was still way too hot, even with the windows open all night. The pool is nice and private, and there is a wonderful restaurant around the corner. It‘s a romantic spot, and probably much easier to enjoy outside the summer heat. And I‘d recommend trimming the large tree and the other plants a bit, also some less worn outdoors furniture would be nice. Great home base for day-trips to Avignon, Orange, Nimes, and Arles.

We've stayed in this beautiful apartment before and love it. It was very chilly this time and it would be great to have a fire - or at least get the second radiator in the sitting room fixed. The welcome pack was fabulous and much appreciated.

Fewo Bewertung We were enjoying our holidays in the Maison du Tilleuil in Roque-sur-Ceze from end of September until mid October 2024. Marilyne had welcomed us warmly and looked well after us. The house was well equipped and in good taste. The shady and cozy courtyard with the heated pool was inviting, however the temperature during our stay was too cool to be enjoyed. The gorgeous village is beautifully situated. We enjoyed our stay.

We would have given five stars for this beautiful apartment but we found the lack of Information very stressful. We couldn't find out how to access the key and communication was very fraught. The website check in time was 4 but Marilyne eventually said 12 which was impossible because of our flight time. However, getting in was fine in the end and Marilyne was very friendly. We'd very much like to return to her well-equipped and attractively furnished property.

This property is an absolute gem. Sitting in the middle of a beautiful village nestled on a hillside overlooking the Ceze. There is nothing to want for as the property has been expertly kitted out. Marilyne, our host, was very welcoming and kind. We stayed at the house for a month over winter and honestly couldn't rate it highly enough. It was a real shame to leave! Thank you Marilyne !

We have just returned from staying at La Maison du Tilleuil and had an amazing holiday. We are already planning a return trip. The house is immaculate and has been very well thought out. Sehr sauber, hat an nichts gefehlt, Besitzerin drängt sich trotz unmittelbarem Aufenthaltsort in keiner Weise auf, sehr angenehm. Einzig das Icon mit der Klimaanlage (Air Condition) sollte entfernt werden, ist irreführend, da nicht vorhanden. Die Immobilie ist ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen.

Very comfortable gite

Very comfortable gite

The gite is very comfortable, every detail is thought of by the owners and we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the quality of the furnishing and the kitchen equipment. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our belongings. I also really appreciated the under eaves seating area for meals in the shade. There were a couple of small niggles: the place is advertised as having air conditioning, however, the air conditioning unit is very old and appears to be out of use. In any case we could not get it to work. Luckily the week we were there was not too hot. The pool is quite small, more like a plunge pool, and in an area that gets no sun after about 3pm, which was a pity as we would have liked to sunbathe. Lastly, because you are right in the centre of the village (and one of the plus beaux villages de France), parking was sometimes an issue and there are a steady stream of tourists around, and the court yard of the house is open so you are somewhat overlooked. Unfortunately there no general shop or boulangerie in the village which would have made being so central worthwhile. Lastly the wifi wasn't great but that seems to be commonly the case in rural areas. The owners have an épicerie next door and they left us some wine and other treats, and gave us some free ice creams which was a lovely surprise. All in all I would really recommend the gite.

Le bien est très agréable . Nous nous sommes directement sentis comme chez nous. Le mobilier est de très bon goût et la cuisine très moderne et fonctionnelle avec un grand frigidaire/congélateur ( idéal pour les glaces ) . Seuls bémols le manque d'ensoleillement au bord de la piscine et le problème de parking ( bien que réservé aux ayants droits( riverains et hôtes) celui-ci est squatté en journée par les touristes des cascades du contrebas . Bien à recommander . Village magnifique et piétonnier ,propriétaire réactive et boutique du rez-de chaussée proposant des glaces et des confitures délicieuses

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et garderons un très bon souvenir de ces vacances dans le Gard : la maison, de charme, est magnifique, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Il ne manquait vraiment rien. La propriétaire met à la disposition des vacanciers des produits locaux ce qui démontre l’attention qu’elle porte à ses locataires. Lieu très propre : il n’y a rien à redire.

Nous avons passé de très agréables 14 jours en Octobre dans cette maison parfaitement équipée et installée avec beaucoup de goût. Marilyne pense à tout pour que les vacanciers ce sentent à la maison et bienvenus. On a pu même profiter de la piscine grâce au temps idéal et la bonne température d’eau. Le village est très pittoresque et il y quelques bon restaurant dans le coin. On a fait beaucoup de ballades en vélo dans toutes les directions - pour nous tout était parfait. A refaire!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub im Ferienhaus in La Roque-sur-Céze. Alles war superschön eingerichtet, großzügig und frisch renoviert. Sogar kleine Willkommensgeschenke warteten auf uns. Die Kinder haben den temperierten Pool genossen und wir haben uns sehr gefreut, dass der Pool noch im Oktober betrieben wurde. La Roque ist malerisch und die Nähe zur Ardéche und den in der Umgebung zu besichtigenden Grotten war perfekt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Zwar hatten wir mit dem Wetter etwas Pech - war eine gewitterhafte und regnerische Woche - umso mehr freuten wir uns über die vorzüglich eingerichtete Wohnung! Neue perfekte Betten, alles vorhanden, sogar NespressoKaffemaschine samt Kapseln, moderne Küche und stilrein eingerichtete Zimmer! Auch Marylins Boutique im Souterrain mit Brot, Wein und feinsten Glacés war perfekt.
