Mirrabook Cottage is located 17km west of Coonabarabran township. Close to Coonabarabran and close to the majestic Warrumbungle National Park, our accommodation is perfect for couples and families. Located on a rural property, Mirrabook Cottage is a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Enjoy the peaceful night sky, clean fresh air, and a quiet glass of wine on the deck.
The cottage is a separate cabin from the main house, with separate entrance, ensuring maximum privacy.
Our kitchen is fully self-contained, perfect for making your favourite gourmet meals.
Baby items such as portacot, high chair and baby bath available upon request.
Additional floor mattress can be provided for extra persons upon request at additional cost.

Fantastic stay and accommodation.Would have to be one of the best in the region.Great location and peaceful surrounds.The only suggestion is that if you don’t want to drink tank water, pick some drinking water up from Woolies at Coonabarabran on the way.

We had a great time staying at Mirrabook cottage. The cottage is lovely and we had an amazing time hiking in the Warrumbungles and exploring the nearby Siding Springs Observatory.

The location of the property is very convenient for visiting Warrumbungle Park. There were some nice amenities available, such as a coffee machine and a selection of spices. However:- There was no mobile network coverage, and the internet did not work for most of our stay. This was very inconvenient and stressful, especially given the extreme weather conditions, which made it difficult for us to plan our trip accordingly. - The water is not treated or monitored for safety, but this was not mentioned in the advertisement. As a result, we did not have enough water for brushing our teeth or preparing food. - The outdoor area was somewhat messy and not particularly inviting. The setup was not ideal for enjoying the Milky Way and stargazing at night.
