About this house rental
Ideally located about 200 m from the beautiful beach "La Chapelle" famous surf spot, "Pearl Coral" a small independent house close to many scenic spots, will charm you with its authentic and neat decoration. It has been arranged to ensure all the necessary comfort. It is located in the heart of the authentic village of Anse-Bertrand, refuge place of the last Caribbean Indians of the island and famous for its must-see sites, its many hiking trails and its famous marine cemetery located not far from the house.
"Equipments":
The house consists of 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with mosquito nets. Umbrella bed. 1 living room with sofa bed + 1 armchair, Telephone, TV With several channels, Broadband Internet access, Wifi, DVD player, Books, games, Comic books. 1 living room, 1 equipped kitchen: hot water, induction hob, oven, fridge / freezer, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle; 1 bathroom with shower hot water, hair dryer, washing machine. Board and iron. Vacuum. Toilets (WC) independent of the bathroom. Balcony, Terrace, Courtyard, 2 Garden Rooms, 6 Deckchairs and Hammocks to bask in the sun or in the shade of palm trees with a good book, being lulled by the breath of the trade winds. Barbecue. Enclosed garden where you can prepare your little punch of the south with the fruits of the passion that you will pick there. Outdoor giant chess game. . Car park.
Sheets and beds made on arrival, linen and towels provided. 2 Surfboards, 2 boogie boards + snorkeling accessories available free of charge.
"Activities, outings":
Its proximity to the beach of La Chapelle will allow you to take daily morning baths in turquoise water.
Its privileged location will allow you to take advantage of the many activities on the town or in the surrounding area: hiking along the coast (from La Chapelle beach in Anse-Bertrand to the Souffleur beach in Port-Louis), the loop North Grande-Terre, Traces of the cliffs along wild coasts, the trace of Customs etc. You can also swim in the turquoise waters of our many beaches, relax in the shade of the coconut trees of the beach of the Chapel with fine white sand, indulge in surfing, scuba diving or visit by boat creeks of the town. You can also see the Anse-Bertrand Historical Cemetery, which has the oldest tombs on the island.
The Pearl of Coral is a delight for surfers (experienced or beginners) for whom we provide free surfboards, body-board and snorkeling equipment. Chess players will also appreciate the places.
Here you have all the ingredients to spend an exotic vacation alone, as a couple or with your family.

Jolie petite maison avec tout le confort environnement très agréable ,superbe plage à 5 minutes à pied ,restaurants, tous les commerces à pied.
Anse Bertrand est un endroit très charmant .
Les voisins sont supers, et les guadeloupéens très gentils et très serviables.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der "Perle de Corail" sehr genossen. Anse-Bertrand ist im Vergleich zu anderen Ferienzielen auf Guadeloupe kein touristischer Ort - dafür authentisch. Interessant für Urlauber die nicht Luxus in Saus-und-Braus leben möchten, sondern die sich für die Menschen und deren Lebensart interessieren. Und für unverbaute Natur. Dafür ist Anse-Bertrand und auch die "Perle de Corail" hervorragend geeignet. Die Wohnung liegt an der Hauptstraße nach Port-Louis - man lebt mitten im Ort unter Nachbarn. Wer empfindlich gegen Straßen- und Nachbargeräusche ist, sollte hier nicht buchen, aber trotzdem bietet das Haus und der Garten auch genügend ruhige Zonen, die einem auch ausreichend Privatsphäre bieten. Zudem sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und der Strand in 5 min zu Fuß zu erreichen - das Meer hört und sieht man vom Garten aus, über den nach hinten angrenzenden bunt-karibischen Friedhof hinweg, der uns nicht gestört hat. Die Menschen im Ort sind freundlich und aufgeschlossen - man wird noch gefragt, wo man her kommt - im Speziellen, wenn man nicht perfekt französisch kann. Der Empfang im Haus durch Coco und Gerard war herzlich und nett. Das Haus selbst ist gepflegt und bietet alles was man zur Selbstversorgung braucht - inkl. Spül- und Waschmaschine. Im überdachten Gang neben dem Haus kann man auch beim nicht seltenen tropischen Regen gemütlich sitzen. Der Mietwagen parkt gut auf der Straße vor dem Haus. Anse-Bertrand bietet sehr viel landschaftliche Abwechslung. Im Norden die Klippenlandschaft mit dem herrlichen Strand "Laborde" (Vorsicht: wegen der Strömung eher zum Baden in der Sonne als im Wasser geeignet), den schönen Surferspot "La Chapelle" mit 2 netten Restaurants (in 5 min zu Fuß zu erreichen) und Richtung Süden den 11 km langen Wanderweg durch Mangroven, an Lagunen und Stränden entlang zum Traumstrand "Plage du Souffleur" in Port Louis, der typisch karibisches Baden in warmem, türkisblauen Wasser ermöglicht (mit dem Auto in 10 min zu erreichen). Die genannten Strände haben zudem den Vorteil, dass sie nicht von der derzeit grassierenden Braunalgenplage betroffen sind - dafür die nahegelegene "Porte d'Enfer" leider umso mehr, Marcus (der Vermieter) hat sich über die gesamte Buchungs- und Mietphase telefonisch um uns gekümmert - die Verständigung war in englisch möglich.

Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines à La Perle de Corail et cette charmante maison nous a ravi. Elle est très bien située, à proximité de la belle plage de La Chapelle et proche du village et ses commerces. Nous avons acheté des poissons directement aux pêcheurs du petit port de Anse Bertrand et avons même savouré des langoustes. Quel bonheur de savourer ces mets fins, au barbecue, dans cet adorable jardin aux lumières tamisées, bercés par le ressac de la mer et le chant des petits insectes, dès la tombée de la nuit. C'est un petit havre de paix, très calme, cet écrin nous apporte le côté un peu plus "sauvage" recherché, retiré des gros sites à touristes sans en être trop éloigné. Marcus et Lily, les propriétaires ont à coeur le bien être de leurs hôtes. Ils font tout pour faciliter le séjour des âmes égarées. Nous avons apprécié, entre autre, l'envoi de l'itinéraire (de l'aéroport à la location). Nous recommandons cette location à nos proches et y retournerons si nos pas nous mènent à nouveau en Guadeloupe.

Nous avons été enchanté de notre séjour: un accueil sympathique malgré notre arrivée tardive (agréable surprise des spécialités créoles en prime) .
La maison est propre,calme et spacieuse. Nous avions tout le confort: frigo-congélateur, barbecue, four, machine à laver, climatisation dans les chambres,wi-fi, linge de maison...
Les extérieurs sont aussi bien équipés: patio couvert en cas de pluie où l'on peut déjeuner et surtout une terrasse dominant la mer où nous avons déjeuné et dîné pratiquement tous les jours.
la cerise sur le gâteau: la proximité immédiate de la plage très belle et moins fréquentée que celles du sud de Grande Terre (Gosier ou Sainte Anne)
le village est propre avec des commerces de proximité bien pratiques
en bref: on y revient sûrement, alors vivement l'année prochaine!!et merci aux propriétaires et à Coco!
