Beautiful Provencal bastide (south-facing), adjoining a traditional bastide but independent, privacy preserved, beautiful quality and decoration, enclosed garden 3500m2, 2 bedrooms with double queen-size beds (1.60m x 2.00m) and air-conditioning, living room with TV, DVD, equipped open kitchen (LL, LV, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso machine and filter coffee maker) shower room, WC. Surface area 75m2. Terrace, lawn, barbecue, stone walls, borie, olive trees, secure swimming pool (5 m x 10 m, available from May 1 to October 15). 9 mn from Aix-en-Provence. No smoking and no pets. We stayed two weeks in this absolutely wonderful property. The photos do not do it justice. The apartment is lovely and very functional. It has well stocked kitchen with good applicances and a gas stove, and the bedrooms have air conditioning, which was a real boon during the heatwave. The pool is beautiful and the surroundings are quiet and sedate. The host is extremely helpful and kind, and largely left us to our own devices. He brought us a bowl of delicious apricots which were in season and otherwise we occasionally saw him doing work around the yard. Eguilles is not a tourist destination which is nice, but it has all the necessities- eg boulangerie, epicierie, boucherie, and small grocery, and Carrefour and Intermarche are nearby and other major shopping areas towards Marseilles and Aix are only 15-20min away.Do be prepared that it is not right off the highway. It is on a quiet road on a gated property a couple of minutes from Eguilles center, but we considered that an upside.Stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice stay at Eguilles.
At walking distance from the town centre and yet remote and quite.
Enjoyed the house, the pool, the outside space.
The owner was friendly and helpful.

It´s a really nice and well equipped accomodation which we liked and enjoyed very much, especially the pool ;-) , the terrace and the sleeping rooms with French windows overlooking the area.
It is within walking distance to Eguilles, it takes you roughly 20min.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The owners could not have been more helpful. The setting is green and quiet. The wider region of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille is a little challenging for elderly drivers like myself on account of the terrain and the pressure of traffic, but the rewards of sightseeing outweigh the difficulties.
