We had a wonderful and somewhat unexpected experience — but in the best possible way. We stayed in a charming and authentic Sicilian home with breathtaking views, located almost in the heart of a nature reserve. This is the perfect place to unwind both physically and mentally. There are no crowds — just pure nature, beautiful mountains, and the magical sea. The accommodation was truly equipped with everything we needed. The amenities were excellent. Over our 9-night stay, we encountered several animals: cats, a friendly dog, sheep, a donkey who completely stole our hearts, and even a wild boar who visited us once! It was a unique and unforgettable connection with nature. One great feature worth mentioning is the opportunity to grill outdoors. We often prepared barbecue and seafood on the grill, which added to the experience. The lack of internet might be seen as a plus — here, you can truly reset your daily routine, sleep well, and disconnect from the outside world. A special thank you to Salvatore and his parents, who were always available and ready to help whenever needed. Their kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those seeking peace, authenticity, and a real taste of Sicily.

These are more friendly tips and recommendations than actual cons. The accommodation has a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere — perfect for those looking to disconnect from the busy daily routine. Keep in mind that Wi-Fi is only accessible just outside the front door! We often grilled meat and seafood, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. It would be even better if the host could provide a proper grill grate for this purpose. The main downside of the stay was the bathroom, which could use some renovation. The shower space is quite small, and the door is awkward to use, as it takes up additional space when closing. There’s also a minor issue with water drainage. It would also be great to provide more toilet paper and hygiene products in the bathroom. It’s also important to consider the location. A car is definitely recommended, as the beautiful white-sand beach of San Vito Lo Capo is about 6.5 km away, and the road goes through hilly, mountainous terrain. Overall, this is a great place for nature lovers and those seeking a calm and authentic Sicilian experience.

The wifi was quite poor and no phone connection. But really was ok

Emplacement intéressant pour aller visiter le parc Zingaro. Malheureusement le parc était fermé suite à un incendie. Du coût ça perd un peu de son attrait.

Équipement au minimum dans cette maison, où il faut finalement acheter pas mal de petites choses si on reste un peu.
