Country house with a pool in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, sleeps 8

We have just had a wonderful week here and now back in a much cooler UK we are all wishing we were back there. The property, and hosts, were delightful and the ‘mas’ is surrounded by so much outdoor space yet only 5-10 minutes by car to the nearest village. The kids loved seeing the horses/donkeys and trying to spot all the cats! In the 40 degree heat the air conditioning and fabulous pool were very welcome. Highly recommend this place and we hope to be back someday…….

A beautiful house in a perfect setting! Lots of outdoor space, lovely pool with pool toys, table tennis and boules. Air con a bonus…very well equipped kitchen. San remis and Avignon are beautiful. Hosts were very friendly… Our kids loved the farm setting, cats, horses and donkeys to feed! Poor WiFi but other than that, a perfect place to stay!! No regrets about booking!

Our host family are beautiful people. We will treasure the memories of our time for many years to come. And we will be back again! Claude was extremely helpful with local knowledge, tips and recommendations. The property is a real working rural property so we loved seeing real Provençal life unfold around us. Never intrusive and we always had our privacy. Beautiful!

Beautiful country house in Provence! Two families (one of 4, one of 5) fit comfortably here (though my 5 year old slept on the floor). My kids loved the pool after our days out sightseeing in the gorgeous Provençal villages, Avignon, etc, playing badminton on the expansive field next to the pool, and eating dinner on the terrace. Claude was a warm and welcoming host and the surroundings of the house were gorgeous. I went for a run and immediately passed horses and fields of sunflowers. St. Remy and Les Baux de Provence are nearby villages that are stunning and si charmantes. We would gladly return here!

We planned a multi-generational “Christmas in Provence” holiday with this property as our base. It was absolutely wonderful and we had a great stay. Provence is beautiful all-year round and this property was ideally located to reach all the main sites with short easy drives down beautiful country roads. Claude and her family were lovely, and exceptional hosts! We are looking forward to returning and experiencing Provence again in a different season, and staying here once more!

We had a very pleasant stay here for a few days. The property can sleep up to 8 but there was just the two of us and a baby, but that didn’t matter. All very cosy and comfortable and nice sitting outside in the evening. Kitchen has all the mod cons, although the knives could be a bit sharper. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lots to see close by and the house has everything you need. Very spacious and well stocked kitchen. Great for family. Highly recommend this property.

This home and the entire experience was perfection for our family of five looking to spend a few days relaxing in, and touring around, Provence. For those wanting down time and relaxation the pool is a delight and the setting of the home is blissful. The owners, whose own home is adjacent on the property, have paid loving attention to every detail of decorating and equipping the house which has a kitchen stocked with every possible utensil and piece of equipment need. They also went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful, finding the right balance between respecting our privacy and being a available and a resource as needed. There are mountain views, horses on the property, and a really sweet friendly dog that belongs to the owners and was a big hit with our kids! St Remy is a 10 minute drive for restaurants, stores and cafes, and during our 5 days there we found it to be a great base for a number of excursions from kayaking around the Pont du Garde, horse riding near Maussanne, a boat ride from Marseilles to Calanques national park and en route stops at the Abbeye Notre Dame de Senanque, the Roman ruins at Glanum, Baux de Provence, Avignon and Orange. We could not recommend this place more highly.

We absolutely loved our stay on this beautiful farm near the picturesque village of Saint Remy. The house, pool, and outdoor areas are perfectly equipped with everything you need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back!

Our hostess, Claude, was a delight. She was so friendly and did so much to make our stay enjoyable.The home was very comfortable and the interior very nice. The beautiful gardens and country setting allowed us to relax in true Provence style.

This is an incredible property. The setting is stunning. The house is large and beautifully outfitted. When I came home I found myself wishing for the bathrooms and flooring of this place. Clean, centrally located for sightseeing and on large, quiet piece of land surrounded by farms. We enjoyed the company of the owner's dog during our stay. She was the self-appointed watch dog over the kids. The pool was, of course, a highlight for kids and adults alike.

This place more than met our expectations. We were three couples and the house was very comfortable. The setting is fantastic with horses, cows, friendly dogs and the family was the best. Claude and her family received us with open arms and made us feel like we were part of their family. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Claude.

Claude and her family are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, the house was lovely, clean and came with a loaded kitchen. Too bad the temperature was not conducive to swimming in the pool. You definitely need a car to stay here as it is out in the country.

We spent a week at this lovely house in the countryside 8k from Saint-Remy-de-Provence. It is a central location for exploring the area. The house is very modern, clean and well appointed. I like to be able to cook when I travel, so a clean kitchen with all the tools I need is important to me. All of the appliances were in good working order including an outdoor grill. All that said, what makes this house magical is it's setting and the personal service provided by the owner. The house is nestled amongst picturesque provencal countryside offering beautiful views from every window and privacy. Claude met us in town (when we got lost) to guide us to the house and welcomed us with local wine and olive oil. She shared local information and recommendations that made our trip special. She was kind enough to print some tickets that we needed for the next leg of our trip. We were sad to leave and would love the opportunity to return in the future.

We've been traveling to the area around St. Remy de Provence for decades, staying at various hotels, apts and other houses, but Mas Lubieres is without question the best we've found! Its a private house with a pool, away from the main roads, on a sizable farm where the owner lives in a separate house, about 5km NE of St Remy. The owner family is warm, friendly and welcoming - helpful and available if you need something, but respectful of your privacy. The house has all the modern conveniences, such as wifi, cable TV, and is tastefully furnished, clean and well-maintained - in short, it is fully equipped with everything one needs for a truly relaxing vacation in a wonderful area of Provence. If you want to stay in the town, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, this is not for you. However, it is an easy bike ride into St. Remy and a great base from which to explore the smaller, charming villages around. For us, it was the peaceful serenity of the countryside, with views of open fields and the Alpilles, surrounded by nearly traffic-free, flat country roads, perfect for biking, that made its location the best we've ever had the privilege to spend a week at in Provence. Thank you Family Boudarel, we will certainly return!

Wij hebben een geweldige verblijf gehad in deze prachtige vakantiewoning! Alles wat je maar kan wensen is aanwezig. De gastfamilie is zeer discreet en erg behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk. Met temperaturen van +38 graden was de airconditioning in de woning erg waardevol. Een aanrader voor deze regio!

We have spent two weeks in this beautiful house in the month of June 2022. Claude, and the entire hosting family are exceptionally friendly and supportive. The house is ideally positioned close to Alpilles within a very nice and idyllic environment with large plane threes, horses, donkeys, cats ... with a car it is only 10-15min to St. Remy, or ~30 min to Avignon and lots of other nice places from Arles, Orange ... to Carmague national parc with access to the Mediterranean Sea.

Das Haus und das Anwesen sind ein Traum. Es ist alles wunderschön eingerichtet und kein Wunsch bleibt offen! Wir wurden auf das herzlichste begrüßt und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles!

Une semaine inoubliable.

Nous avons passé un séjour entre amis très agréable. Dés notre arrivée on a été accueilli par la propriétaire, la maison était décorée ( sapin de noël, guirlandes lumineuses) on s'est de suite senti comme chez nous ! La maison est grande , propre rien ne manque ! C'est rare d'avoir une cuisine si bien équipée ! Le coin est super . Allez y, n'hésitez pas, vous ne le regretterez pas.

Ein wunderbares, sehr gepflegtes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus zum Entspannen mit Pool, zentral in der Provence gelegen ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Das Ferienhaus ist aufgrund des sehr schönen und ruhigen Umfelds mit Blick auf die Alpillen sehr empfehlenswert für einen erholsamen und gleichzeitig abwechslungsreichen Urlaub (Avignon, Orange, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Les Alpilles, Arles oder die Camargue sind gut erreichbar). Verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse sowie die Liegen am Pool laden zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Sehr viel Freude hatten wir auch an dem gut funktionierenden Gasgrill. Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal in diesem schönen Ferienhaus und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Nous avons passés 15 jours formidable et c’est avec un grand plaisir que nous espérons y retourner. La maison est très agréable et conforme à la description de l’annonce.

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances en famille extraordinaire. La maison était propre grande adapté à une grande famille et rien ne manqué. Les hôtes sont très agréables. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Je conseille fortement cette location.

Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances d'hiver en Provence dans la maison de Claude. La maison est très bien située à quelques minutes en voiture de Saint-Rémy. Elle est ancrée dans une grande propriété et permet d’apprécier pleinement le calme et la sérénité de la campagne. L’intérieur de la maison est très cosy, propre et bien entretenu. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la cuisine extrêmement bien équipée. Après avoir pris ses marques, on se sent très rapidement chez soi. L’extérieur est tout aussi agréable. La maison est noyée dans un grand espace vert extrêmement reposant et propice à des jeux extérieurs. Les équipements de terrasses (tables, transats) sont propres et très appréciables pour profiter pleinement du beau temps au bord de la piscine. Les propriétaires ont été très accueillants, sympathiques et toujours très disponibles. Pour conclure, nous avons hâte d’y retourner. Tout est dit !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison pour la période de Noël: la maison avait été décorée avec sapin, guirlandes et bougies ce qui fait que l'on se sentait tout de suite chez soi. La maison est bien équipée, bien chauffée, les chambres sont confortables, l'hôte est très gentillle, tout s'est très bien déroulé.

Maison avec 3 chambres, très bien équipée, vue sur les Alpilles, pas de vis à vis, salon de jardin,, piscine , terrasse, mobilier de jardin, plancha, ping-pong, fléchettes, beaucoup d'espaces. Claude, la propriétaire sympathique et très altruiste. Peut-être que la pièce a vivre est un peu petite.

Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tolle Atmosphäre, ruhige Lage in herrlicher Landschaft, gepflegtes Haus und Grundstück, familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Des propriétaires absolument charmants, qui nous ont même donné des légumes de leur jardin. Produits d entretien fournis, ce qui est très appreciable. Un endroit calme, plongé dans la nature, chevaux à proximité, de magnifiques arbres protègent du soleil si on le souhaite, une piscine assez grande. En résumé, un bel endroit pour passer une semaine en famille.

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable chez Claude ! Tout était absolument parfait : la maison est d’une propreté irréprochable, très confortable et fonctionnelle ( la maison est parfaitement adaptée aux enfants), le jardin est magnifique et la vue sur les Alpilles depuis la piscine est magique. Claude et sa famille ont été des hôtes merveilleux : à la fois discrets et attentionnés ! J’ai hâte de revenir dans ce petit coin de paradis !
