About this house rental
Cosy apartment in the coastal area of Can Picafort, close to all amenities, which offers views of the village and comfortably accommodates 6 people.
This fantastic property has access to two furnished terraces – one of 20 m2 located at the front of the house and the other of 30 m2 at the rear – where you can share unforgettable moments with your loved ones. With the mobile barbecue you can delight your friends and family by cooking fabulous meals outdoors. The privacy of this property is partial.
In the living-dining room, which has air-conditioning, you can get away from your daily routine by watching satellite TV, reading or enjoying endless table-talks with your people. The separate kitchen has everything you need to surprise your guests with your best recipes. The separate utility room has a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. There are three bedrooms (one double-bedded, one twin-bedded, and one with a bunk) with wardrobes, and air-conditioning in two of them. The apartment is provided with two heaters and a cot, in case you need one. There is a full bathroom with a bath.
The property is located in the tourist area of Can Picafort, a town which has access to many services and leisure activities both during the day and the night, and which holds an outdoor market every Friday morning, where you can buy many local products. Within walking distance, you will find Son Real, a finca open to the public where you can walk around its dunes, and streams, see its typical Mediterranean vegetation, and visit the archaeological remains. There are also beautiful sandy beaches ideal for water sports such as windsurfing, kite-surfing, and jet skiing, for boat trips and for renting all kinds of vehicles.

Came for cycling this house was perfect, secure rear yard, friendly Chinese round corner, great kitchen and local Lidl .. ideal location for cycling

This place is great! The location of the apartment is perfekt, close to the beach and shopping. Great for families with kids. Kind neighbours and good neighbourhood.

Where to start? We were told 24 hours before arriving that the owner couldn't meet us, but would leave the back door unlocked for us to gain entry, this wasn't an issue until we realised there was no back door key, the back yard was accessible through a large garage style door, which in fairness did lock, the actual door into the property didn't. I tried phoning the numbers that were scribbled on a small piece of paper, but got no answer.
First stop kettle, no electric kettle, just a stove one, which judging by the rust inside, hadn't been used for some time.
Cutlery & crockery all need washed before it could be used.
We decided there & then to eat out everyday.
No mattress protectors on the beds, just a flimsy sheet.
No instructions on how to use anything, or leaflets on local area, this would of all been very useful.
On the plus side, the house was very local, ideal for beach, local bars & restaurants, full air con, although very loud, had to switch off through the night. Free wifi & house a descent size!
With a bit of TLC & a few extras this could be a lovely place, I don't think it was worth the money we paid & we wouldn't return.
