About this house rental
Sea La Vie is located in Slidell a Suburb of New Orleans. It is located 27 miles from the French Quarter and is an easy drive on I-10. The home is a three bedroom home with two large bedrooms and a loft bedroom for kids only. The home has been completely renovated in 2017 and everything in it is new. There is huge 100' dock with deep water access via boat. Bring your boat and kids and swim, ski, fish and boat in Lake Pontchartrain. The lake is a 3 minute boat ride from the dock. There is a large deck that has seating for eight and extra chairs for overflow. The home is 5 minutes from some of the best fishing in the country. You can even fish right off the dock in the front yard. There is phenomenal fishing in the Rigolets nearby with incredible salt water fishing and access to fresh water fishing within 20 minutes by boat.
You can play in the water or on the boat all day and hit the French Quarter at night for great fun and partying like no where else. You can catch an Uber, Taxi or drive. Great from two couples or a family. There is a sleeper sofa for over flow sleeping in the living room. The home has a nicely stocked kitchen with all new appliances. There is a double oven and large stove. The home has a large working fireplace and large dining room with a table that expands to seat 12. Great for family get together and large meals.
The home has 2 king beds, 1 queen/full bed in the upstairs loft, a bunk room with 1 full and 2 twins plus a queen sleeper sofa. Sleeps 8 adults and 3 children. The upstairs bedroom is a loft space.
No pets allowed
We will allow one certified service dog with a $250 non refundable carpet cleaning fee. Multiple service dogs are not allowed.

We were in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with family! The property was clean and had all essentials needed for a very comfortable stay! The hostess, Lisa, was amazing and was quick to respond to questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Overall it was a great location but the house does need upgrades. There were no rags or mop to clean up spills, no chairs in the room to sit down in, most of the pots and pans were burnt as well as the grill was super dirty and the spa tub is still not working.
