We are happy to welcome couples, families wishing to spend a pleasant holiday.
Escape this summer to the Lot and book this magnificent stone house in the quiet countryside. It is located near Carennac, an exceptional village in the Lot.
You will be accommodated in this 18th century building, well equipped for your comfort.

You will be immersed in the Dordogne valley where nature and heritage mix, for all enthusiasts: close to our rental
* The Dordogne river merges with the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire of the Dordogne valley and you can canoe there as a couple, with your family.
* The tourist attraction of the country also lies in the temperament of its landscapes and its authentic villages.
* The castles of the Lot have character: whether they are military, Renaissance or pleasure.
All in red sandstone, Castelnau-Bretenoux is a real fortress of the Middle Ages.
*The Château de Montal is a jewel of the Renaissance, located in the Dordogne valley with an Italian-style décor.
* The towers of Saint-Laurent, the remains of a medieval castle, watch over the town of Saint-Céré.
ROCAMADOUR, not far from there:
The view is striking: Rocamadour is a real eagle's nest, balanced above your heads. The houses on the river, the churches on the houses, the rocks on the churches, and the castle on the rock.
THE GOUFFRE DE PADIRAC is the 1st site of the underground world in France.
It encloses a geological architect's treasure that billions of drops of water have shaped over time. Possibility to take explorer tours in the dark in summer

* is ideally located in the heart of the great tourist sites of Quercy to visit Rocamadour, Padirac chasm, Martel, Bretenoux Carennac, Collonges la rouge Turenne, St cirq Lapopie, Figeac (birthplace of Champollion) Cahors
* is immersed in a culinary terroir (wines, cheeses, foie gras, candied truffles, walnuts present at local farmers' markets)
* is surrounded by multiple activities (marked trails for mountain biking or hiking, lake, fishing, the Dordogne with its canoes, tennis, caving, Gramat animal park, Martel tourist train, monkey forest and the eagle rock in Rocamadour, the Reptiland in Martel).

Hôte très sympathique et accueillante. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cette demeure et des alentours. Maison de village avec tout le confort . Avons appréciés nos petits déjeuners sur la terrasse accompagnés du chant des oiseaux. Endroit très calme et reposant.. Nous reviendrons avec joie.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans ce gite bien au calme. La maison est spacieuse, propre et conforme à la description. Depuis le jardin ou le balcon, il y a une très belle vue sur la campagne environnante.
La propriétaire est gentille et son huile de noix très bonne !
Nous conseillons cette location !

En bordure de hammeau et entourée de sentiers et de vues magnifiques, cette maison ancienne rénovée a été idéale pour visiter le Lot. Il y a aussi un grand jardin avec balançoire, un abri pour l'indispensable voiture et de quoi manger dehors au soleil ou à l'ombre.

L'estada ha estat molt agradable: la propietària és molt amable i la casa està molt ben situada, en una zona rural molt tranquil·la i al mateix temps a prop dels principals pobles importants per visitar.
Ara bé, hem tingut molts problemes amb els pagaments: havíem acordat que per fer la reserva només calia pagar una part de l'estada però m'ho van cobrar tot, inclòs el dipòsit de 250 € a retornar al final de l'estada (i malgrat les repetides queixes, no vaig aconseguir que m'ho resolguessin, així que es van quedar durant mesos amb l'import total de l'estada més el dipòsit).
Ara, gairebé un mes després de la nostra arribada a la casa llogada, encara estic pendent de rebre els diners del dipòsit. He insistit tant a la propietària com a Homelidays i encara no tinc resposta ni diners, tot i que vaig rebre un missatge de Homelidays 1 setmana després del final de l'estada en què em deien que em retornaven el dipòsit (és a dir, que vam deixar la casa en bon estat i ens retornaven l'import íntegre).
Total, que encara estic a l'espera d'aquests diners, dels quals Homelidays ha disposat durant diversos mesos (vaig fer la reserva amb força antelació) i espero rebre'ls en breu.
Així doncs, contenta per la casa i l'acollida però molt descontenta pel que fa als pagaments i retorn de la fiança.
He escrit el comentari en català (visca Catalunya i el català) però veig que, quan premo el botó "enviar", la versió que m'apareix conté diverses faltes i intents de traduccions mal fetes al castellà. Així que no és culpa meva si el text no queda del tot entenedor i amb una barreja de català i castellà...
