About this villa rental

located between Avignon and St Rémy de Provence, this house is a superb and luxurious holiday home located in the countryside just 1.5 km from the city center. The house has a beautiful fenced garden where there is a magnificent, very original private swimming pool with jacuzzi, bench in the water and a beach area.
It is an ideal place for all ages. Beautiful terrace with garden table. This house offers a very neat interior. A spacious living area with its equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom as well as a child's bedroom equipped with a
90 cm bed and a cot. The house is fitted with a refreshing floor.

Miscellaneous: pets allowed on request - supplement 35 euros per pet.

the property is exactly as beautiful as in the pictures. Well located, totally quiet, very tastefully designed. Check-in and check-out super easy with Fabien being extremely flexible and accomodating. We will surely return.

We loved every second of this Villa. The house was clean, updated and large enough with multiple sleeping options and bathrooms/showers. The grounds were gorgeous - as pretty as the pictures! Our hosts (Fabien and Carol) were so incredibly friendly and were timely in answering any questions we had. We also had the extra bonus of hiring a local chef (Jean-Marc Larrue - email with his permission is [email protected]) who had more than enough room to make amazing meals in the very large kitchen. Nothing but a "five star" experience. Would return at anytime!

The house is amazing, even better than we expected from the pictures. Swimmingpool and outside area like paradise. Would love to come again. A tip for future travellers, a taxi to Avignon is only 20-30 euros, and takes 15 minutes - very convenient.

Adult family reunion was dramatically enhanced by the accommodations and great care and service provided by Fabien and his witty daughter (who excelled in English). We utilized the entire array of amenities from the luxurious pool, to bolle in the large, groomed and private backyard, BBQ, sun bathing, cocktail hour on the patio etc. Equally important, the location just outside of Avignon, allowed us to make day trips to fabulous villages, wineries, and historical sites. We visited St. Rémy, Aix de Provence, Avignon, Roussillon, Nîmes, Arles, Orange, and several other “must sees”. Regarding the chateau, we were blown away with the modern and very elegant design and layout. The kitchen and community rooms were bright and first rate quality. Fabien and his daughter were gracious hosts. They even came out to assist our friends who had car trouble late at night on one of the country roads near the house. Now that’s service! We had a wonderful stay in Provence, in large part because of the special touches found here at this home away from home. Thanks, Fabien! Mark San Francisco Area

Fabien and his daughter were very welcoming. It is such a beautiful home with a lot of thought going into the design. It has a resort feel to it. On arrival a bowl of freshly picked nectarines from Fabien and a bottle of wine to greet us. The house has air conditioning and it was very much needed during our time. The highlight was the pool for everyone, very clean and well maintained. We stayed for two weeks and would have liked to have stayed another week. Our excursions were Arle, St Remy and Avignon, all within reachable distance. There is a bbq, which we used, a table tennis and boule set. Thank you to Fabien for allowing us to use your fabulous home!

The villa exceeded our expectations, and was even more beautiful than the pictures online show. Fabien met us with his family, his daughter can speak some English and so gave us the guided tour and showed us how to set the alarm, turn the pool waterfall on and work the air con. We travelled with our 2 young children (aged 4 and 1) and 3 grandparents. There was plenty of room and it was great knowing we had the place, more importantly the pool to ourselves. The children were able to play with toys, go in the pool and even ride some bikes which were available in the garage. There is a shower and sink available in every room except the children’s room which meant there were no long waits for the shower. 2 separate toilets too. The villa has been furnished beautifully and was very clean and tidy. The pool area and outside table and loungers were also exceptionally clean. The villa is a 5 min drive to the nearest supermarket in Chateaurenard, and Avingnon city is about 15 min drive away. We intended on having a relaxing break with family and that is exactly what we did. We would recommend staying here, great value for money, and a lovely setting for a family and children. Thank you Fabien, we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful holiday, the weather was terrific. Fabien was very helpful. A few pointer for next year for holiday makers We found it hard to turn showers down as the water was very hot, it would be more practical to have a door rather than curtain on downstairs shower as it stuck to you every time you showered. The main concern for us was that the pool alarm was not on and we were told to be vigilant. My father who lives nearby and worked for Interpol said that pool alarm should be on Other than that we had a great time and would recommend to other people

We spent a very happy week at the delightful Mas Le Macaju in the first week of July. This is a property that will particularly suit a family with young children, looking for somewhere more contemporary than rustic, comfortable, safe and within easy reach of the towns and villages on the western edge of Provence, 20 minutes from Avignon and about an hour to the airport in Marseille. The owner, Fabien, speaks heavily-accented French and barely any English but is very accommodating and responsive, and clearly takes great pride in maintaining the property. The house was spotlessly clean and the facilities excellent - a beautiful pool, a lovely shaded outdoor bbq/dining area, a modern laundry and well-equipped kitchen. Lounging by the pool, reading a good book and drinking copious quantities of rose was no hardship here!

Fabien's vacation home in Chatearenard is fantastic! The pictures are great but the reality is even better. The home is beautifully maintained and very well equipped for comfort. The grounds and pool are like a high end resort, but you have it all to yourself. The property itself feels private and secluded but is very handy to the town of Chateaurenard (great little shops for supplies) and only 10 minutes from Avignon. This is also an ideal location if you are interested in wine touring. In the heart of the Rhone and not far from coast it makes an excellent home base. Fabian is a wonderful host and truly wants his guests to have a memorable stay. I HIGHLY recommend this property at the risk of it not being available for our next visit!

Great location for seeing sights in Provence and a beautiful property with great amenities.

This home is situated near sights worthy of visiting: Les Baux des Provence, Gordes, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Arles, La Camargue, Parc du Luberon and Avignon. The house offers 5 bedrooms (1 is a small bedroom for children). Four bedrooms have a shower and sink. There are two toilets (WC), one per floor. We had 8 in our party and this arrangement helped us get out door quickly to see sights. The pool is magnificent - we spent days around the pool lounging. It was a highlight of our days. The owner was very responsive (he lives nearby) to our questions and always helpful. Our only feedback is that we recommend the owner put on paper in English the directions for pool (lighting, waterfall etc), water heater, regulating temperature of shower, and recommendations for nearby restaurants. This would allow renters to manage on their own. We would love to return to this property.

One is never sure what to expect- this villa met all and more than our expectations. The villa is only 4 years old and beautifully finished with everything we needed for our family holiday. It is surrounded by nectarine orchards and close enough to Chateaurenard to be able to pop in for any food, wine etc. The owner - Fabien- met us on our arrival to explain all we needed to know about the villa. He and his family- we met them later in the week- are absolutely delightful people, we had a couple of questions after our first day and sent him a message, he immediately replied and called in to the villa within a couple of hours to see us. We highly recommend this villa and will certainly book it again for our next family gathering.

Nous avons passé nos dernières vacances de noël en famille dans la villa Macaju, et nous avons eu des merveilleuses vacances. La villa Macaju est vraiment très belle, le jardin et la piscine incroyable, et le propriétaire est formidable. Nous avons été couverts de cadeaux tout au long de notre séjour (vins, confiture, chocolats,…). La situation géographique est aussi très bien. Les commerces sont à 5 minutes en voiture, et c’est un très bon point de départ pour visiter le Lubéron, Avignon, Arles, la Camargue,… We’ve stayed in family during Xmas holidays in Macaju vila, and we’ve had wonderful holidays. Villa is very nice, garden incredible, and the owner, Fabien, is nice . We’ve received many, many gifts (Wine, marmelade, chocolates,…). Location is just perfect. All shops are in 5 minutes car, and it’s a very good starting place to visit Lubéron, Avignon, Arles, Camargue,…

Wir waren zu neunt (eine Kochgruppe und ich) in dem wunderschönen Haus am Rand von Chateaurenard. Das Haus war in Wirklichkeit noch schöner als die Fotos und die Beschreibung vermitteln konnten. Im umzäunten Gelände fanden all unsere Autos Platz und wir waren umringt von Obstgärten, so dass ausser einem kleinen gesprächigen Frosch nachts himmlische Ruhe herrschte. Der wunderschön angelegte Garten mit dem Pool (der als Extra noch eine integrierten Jacuzzi und einen Wasserfall hatte) waren bei den heissen Temperaturen ein idealer Rückzugsort. Die Terrasse hatte sehr bequeme Stühle und war abends wunderschön zu beleuchten. Was mir als Köchin besonders gut gefiel war die große Küche, die zum einen sehr gut eingerichtet war und auch Platz für alle Kochwilligen liess. Den geschmackvollen Salon und das kleine Büro benutzen wir ob des schönen Wetters gar nicht. Alle Zimmer waren gleich groß und gleich schön, allerdings sollte ein Pärchen recht "kuschelig" unterwegs sein, weil es mit 140 etwas schmaler ist. Unser Gastgeber Fabien war ein Schatz! Nicht nur, dass schon gekühlter Rosé und hausgemachter Saft im (sehr grossen) Kühlschrank war. Er hat uns alles wunderbar gezeigt und erklärt, gab uns Tipps für unser "Sonntags-Poulet". Überhaupt waren die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Supermarkt und Bäcker recht nah. Schöne Ort in der Nähe wie l'sle sur Sorge (mit Sonntagsmarkt) und ST. Remy mit seinen schönen Gässchen und natürlich Avignon machten den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Merci beaucoup Fabien et j'espere à la prochaine:-)

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans cette magnifique propriété. La piscine est top et très originale avec un plage, un jacuzzi et une cascade, le jardin est magnifique aussi, ainsi que l'intérieur de la maison construite et décorée avec des matériaux de qualité. En plus le propriétaire est très chaleureux et accueillant. Bref c'est la maison de tous les superlatifs. Nous y reviendrons c'est sûr ! N'hésitez pas ! Das Mas «Les Macaju» ist ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Der grosse gepflegte Garten mit einem fantastischen Pool macht das Anwesen perfekt. Das Mas ist für Ausflüge in alle Windrichtungen in der Provence bestens gelegen. Dank der ruhigen Lage an einer Nebenstrasse kann man auch einfach entspannt Ferien ums Haus machen. Wir haben eine Woche mit 3 Generationen verbracht und jede Altersklasse hat die Zeit in der Wohlfühloase gleichermassen genossen. Auch mit 8 Personen fühlt sich das Haus immer noch grosszügig an und man hat nie das Gefühl sich auf die Füsse zu trampeln. Jedes Zimmer (ausser dem Kinderzimmer) hat eine eigene Dusche was für eine gewisse Privatsphäre sorgt. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer Fabien läuft unkompliziert und freundlich ab. Fabien ist für seine Gäste erreichbar und gibt ihnen ein gutes Gefühl. Wir können das Mas «Les Macaju» mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank Fabien!

Très joli mas dans un excellent état avec un jardin exceptionnel. La piscine chauffée est parfaite en pré-saison et on a pu profiter de la piscine même avec une météo officielle à 21 degrés seulement. Depuis la terrasse à l‘ombre d‘agréables voiles et bien protégé du vent, on a une belle vue sur la piscine et le jardin. Côté cuisine aussi tout le confort souhaité. Les supermarchés et un très bon boulanger sont à 3 minutes en voiture sur des routes calmes sauf sur les derniers 500m. Donc le velo (disponibles dans le mas) serait aussi possible. Notre hôte, Fabien était très accueillant. Une magnifique expérience et on reviendra l’année prochaine. Note 5/5.

Nous avons passe une semaine tres agreable en famille au Mas Le Macaju en juillet 2019. La propriete est fantastique: une piscine superbe pour les adultes comme pour les enfants, une terrasse tres agreable a l'ombre avec meubles de jardin et barbecue, une table de ping pong et des oliviers magnifiques pour nous rappeller que nous sommes au coeur de la Provence. L'interieur est spacieux et moderne avec clim et sol rafraichissant. Les 4 chambres principales ont un espace salle de bain et il y a ce qu'il faut pour les familles avec bebe (ce qui etait notre cas). Le mas est aussi tres bien situe, a 5 minutes en voiture de Chateaurenard et a 15 minutes environ d'Avignon et nous avons pu explorer la region tres facilement (Les Baux, St Remy de Provence, etc.) sans faire de longs trajets. Il y a un Super U et un Intermarche a 5 minutes en voiture pour faire les courses et il y avait dans le mas un stock de bouteilles de vin disponible pour l'achat. Nous avons trouve le proprietaire tres accueillant et il s'est montre disponible pour toute assistance ou question.

Les Macaju ist ein wunderschönes, großes und sehr gepflegtes Haus mitten in den Obstfeldern bei Chateaurenard. Alle Geschäfte sind sehr schnell,mauch mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Interessante Ziele sind nicht sehr weit und laden zu Tagestpouren ein. Der Garten ist ein Traum mit einem phantastischen Pool. Sehr beeindruckend die beiden wunderschönen alten Olivenbäume. Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, die Terrasse schattig und liegt direkt vor der Küche. Die Ausstattung der Küche läßt keinen Wunsch offen. Bleibt noch zu erwähnen der sehr freundliche und inkomplizierte Empfang durch den Vermieter. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen,,der aber nichts mit dem Haus zu tun hat: Wenn man mit Hunden kommt, ist fußläufig kein Spazierweg erreichbar, wo man die Hunde laufen lassen kann. Das ist aber bei den anderen Qualitäten vernachlässigbar

Tolles und topgepflegtes landhaus, neuwertig, super ausgestattete Küche, sensationell angelegter Garten, sagenhafter Lagunenpool mit Wasserkaskade, Terrassenmöbel und liegestühle sehr hochwertig, Außenbereich mit Terrasse eine 1 mit Stern! Innen toller Natursteinboden, Schlafzimmer ausreichend groß, leider nur 2 WCs fürs gesamte Haus. Haus extrem hellhörig, man sollte nicht empfindlich sein. Vermieter supersympathisch und sehr hifsbereit!

Le quartier est très calme mais tous les services sont à une courte distance de toute façon. C'est une très bonne maison pour même une plus grande famille. Super und rascher Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Das Haus hat einen wunderschönen Garten und einen noch schöneren Pool. Die Innenaufteilung: Grosse, gut ausgestattet und sehr saubere Wohnküche. Im Erdgeschoss hat es ein grosse Zimmer. Im Obergeschoss hat es 3 Doppelzimmer und 1 kleines Einzelzimmer / Kinderzimmer. Alle Doppelzimmer habe eine eigene Dusche. Sehr sauberes Haus, herzlicher Empfang und Eigentümer ist jederzeit gut erreichbar für allfällige Fragen. Noch ein Pluspunkt: es hat einen Weinschrank mit lokalen hervorragenden Weinen von dem man sich bedienen kann und am Schluss abrechnet. Insgesamt: Top!!!! Jederzeit wieder !

Excellentes Haus mit Charm und beheiztem Pool

Das MAS "Le Macaju"ist mindestens 5 Sterne wert. Es gibt an dieser Unterkunft, solange man auch danach sucht, nichts auszusetzen. Das Haus und der 1a Garten sind top gepflegt und bietet zudem eine Menge Platz. Die Küche ist pefekt ausgestattet, so dass wir oft gekocht haben und die Abende in dem wunderschönen Garten verbracht haben. Der beheizte Pool ist wirklich schön, und mit 28°C im April ein echter Badegenuss. Alles in allem ein Haus in dem wir jederzeit wieder Urlaub machen würden und welches wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können.
