Charming villa - Dream panoramic view - beach 600m - near Porto Vecchio

Large, quiet, perfectly equipped, located in a wonderful hill overlooking the sea facing east. Christophe is a superb host, always there when you need him ... with plenty of excellent tips. We have been in many places, this is one of the best.

We loved Christophe’s beautiful , spacious villa in Tarco . It had a huge garden with various places to sit in the sun and in the shade. The view of the Mediterranean from the windows , which stretch the full length of the house, was stunning; the sunrise spectacular. The beaches in October were empty . Our particular favourite , twenty minutes away, was immediately north of the river mouth at Solenzara. We were there almost every day. It was like a desert island paradise, with secluded coves , as well as a huge stretch of golden sand . We couldn’t believe how we sometimes had the beach entirely to ourselves. It had a great restaurant, right on the beach, Le Voile Rouge , where we often had lunch or went back to , in the evening for dinner . There are numerous great restaurants in the villages all along the coast , including Solenzara and at Sainte Lucie, In Casa was our favourite . I would definitely recommend Christophe’s villa as a great base to explore Corsica . We stayed the full month of October. The mountain passes directly west from Solenzara and Benifacio were our other favourite places to visit.
