About this villa rental

Nestled in the village centre, beautiful recent villa (2008), with pool, located at a 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village in a residential area with quiet as main quality. Tastefully laid out, this villa has the newest full equipment: new high quality bedding, A/C by ground refrigeration (no noise nuisance), 140cm flat screen TV with a BOSE loudspeaker system, unlimited internet access with videogame controllers and Blu-ray player, stereo (200W) with docking station for IPAD or IPHONE, as well as many other types of equipment to make your life comfortable. Everything has been thought to make you feel at home, with the sun, the cicadas and the heated pool as an extra. Located in the heart of the Massif des Maures, the village Plan de La Tour managed to keep the authenticity of the villages of Provence with its charm and tranquillity. Thus, you can take a scenic road to go to Port Grimaud (12kms) or to Saint Tropez (19kms), and enjoy this extraordinary environment with many activities and leisure for you and your kids. The seaside resort of Sainte Maxime, on the other hand, is located less than 10 kms away and will delight you with its streets smelling like Provence and its famous beach de la Nartelle.

Our stay was - again - wonderful. We enjoy the playful family time, in the pool and inside the house as well.Even if it is hot or windy it’s a restful sleep und wonderful cool power naps ….. it is always enough space if kids/teens want to be for themselves or having fun all together.Eric and and Valerie are great and very care taking hosts! Everything is perfectly organized.We will come back, for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at Eric’s property. The house is perfectly located to the village of plan de la tour which has great restaurants and small shops.The house itself is perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a great holiday and the outdoor space is superb. We loved the pool, lovely outdoor seating areas and fantastic plate bbq.Although the house does not have traditional air conditioning units downstairs, the stone floor kept the house at a reasonable temperature on the hottest days.Eric and Valerie were very helpful and were on hand if we had any questions. I would definitely return to the house and would recommend to others.

Again we enjoyed a very relaxing time as a Family. Pool fun, tasteful Barbecue with the Planca, always quite Environment for a Power Nap …. close to the town everything was easy to buy with a foot walk. It was a really wonder filled Summer Holiday and we are happy to come back next year!

The house is beautifully located a few minutes walk from the village. It has a pool and outside dining area. The owner is very responsive and eager to solve any issues immediately. All in all we have a really pleasant stay here.

Eric is good to deal with and professional. Great location - 70 minute drive from Nice, 10 min walk to Plan de La Tour. Good restaurants and bistro/bars, two bakeries, two or three small supermarkets with good fresh veg etc. Less than 10 min drive to excellent, large Carrefour in Sainte Maxime also Lidl etc. Situated in a very quiet, secluded area. Can get the ferry from Sainte Maxime over to St. Tropez. Heated pool is very good temperature and we,enjoyed it but may be slightly small for large family/full house (there were only two of us). Good supply of sun loungers and the shaded area with the large plancha BBQ and large table is great for eating outside and there’s a retractable canopy over the outdoor terrace, however no individual sun parasols for the loungers by the pool. lLarge screen TV and sound bar was good for watching rugby during RWC and could set up an English Netflix profile. There’s a car charging electric point on the drive. Aircon is fine but took a day or so to get up to speed on arrival. Kitchen is fully equipped with a Nespresso machine, coffee filter, mixers , microwave and American style double fridge with an ice maker and chilled water dispenser. Beertender machine with Carrefour selling chilled kegs. Lots of crockery, cutlery etc. Good range of condiments - olive oil, salt, some spices etc

Within the last 15 years we are traveling regularly the south of France, especially the area around St Tropez, Saint Maxime and Plan de la Tour. Eric's place was new to us. We felt at home immediately. Very quite during day and night time, a fantastic garden with different places to relax or playing games. The pool is perfect to cool down and and have some fun as well. Everything we love is close by, also Maitre Julien in Sainte Maxime - greatest Boulangerie, ever. The Check-in and out was perfectly organized and explained; very kind and supportive when we needed something. We definetly will come back next year!

The location is bang on, it’s so good to be so close to le plan de la tour but so quiet, not even on a road (up a drive with 2 other houses). The house was exactly as described bar the mezzanine having been turned into a fourth bedroom which was only a bonus!

We stayed at the property recently, the house was very well equipped, the location was excellent for day trips along the cote d'azur. The pool and grounds were very well maintained and Eric and Valerie were very easy to deal with. We look forward to returning again in the future.

A very nice house in a quiet part of a nice little village with cobbled streets and good restaurants to eat. The climate in this part of the France is just amazing. We were there in the 1st two weeks of August and the weather temperature was just right, around 30 degrees, blue skies all the way. The ground floor enjoys a cool (not cold) temperature, not sure if there was aircon downstairs but we never used it. We did use it on the upper floor for our kids in the mornings. The double beds were very good if not slightly on the small side. I haven't had such a restful and uninterrupted sleep for a very long time. A choice of bath or shower although with somewhat questionable water pressure and quality of some of the taps. The lounge is pretty good although we hardly ever used it as we were always outside. The house is very well kept and has all that a family would need for a one- or two week break including an external flat-surfaced gas-fired bbq. The swimming pool is great for a little bit of fun and the service includes pool and general garden cleaning twice a week. The house felt very secure with a number of external cameras, nicely surrounded either with high walls or bushes, an electric front gate and electric shutters all around. We also found the owner to be fair and helpful. All in all, a very nice place and highly recommended.

Delightful and well located villa

We stayed for five weeks and enjoyed every day. The villa is very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. It has a lovely private garden and the heated pool is a delight and we were able to swim every day. The location of the villa was perfect for us: less than a 10 minute walk to the village of Plan de la Tour. The description of the villa matched exactly our expectations with an incredibly well equipped kitchen, a top quality TV and music system, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and very comfortable. The landlord (Eric) was extremely well organized and very easy and straightforward to deal with. The local house-manager was a delight to deal with and very responsive to any questions we had. In sum, an excellent experience and one we can highly recommend. For the future this is our first choice for rental in and around Plan de La Tour.

We had a great stay at the house. The location is a perfect base to do whichever you feel like doing in that particular Provence area: go to one of the beaches, visit Ste Maxime, St Tropez, have some winetastings, or have a nice meal in the authentic village of Plan de la Tour. The house offers all you need, from an outdoor poolshower, WIFI to BBQ on the terrace. The house is located in a quiet residential area.

We had a great stay at the house. The location is a perfect base to do to whichever you feel like doing, go to one of the beaches, visit cities of ste maxime, st tropez, go to winehouses for tastings, but also have a nice meal in the authentic village of Plan de la Tour. Le village tout proche est très agréable et toutefois animé. Même en mai nous avons pu profité de la piscine chauffée sans vis-à-vis et de la terrasse couverte avec plancha. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances entre amis. Le propriétaire a appelé en milieu de séjour pour savoir si tout se passait bien.. c'est appréciable.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique maison au Plan de la tour. Pour commencer la propriété est en tout point conforme au descriptif. La maison est grande et decoré avec soin, et de nombreux equipements sont mis â notre disposition pour profiter à fond de nos vacances. Malgré la chaleur de l'été, la climatisation au sol nous a permis de profiter de fraicheur à l'interieur de la maison, fort agréable pour passer de bonnes nuits. L'espace exterieur est très agréable, avec une grande terrasse couverte, une plancha, un salon de jardin, une balancelle, des transats et bien sûr une piscine privée, qui plus est chauffée, et ce sans vis-à-vis Tout cela dans un environnement très calme à quelques minutes à pieds du centre du village. Vous pourrez y trouver quelques commerces essentiels (pharmacie, superette, boulangerie, bar et tabac) ainsi que quelques bons restaurants. Nous avons également apprecié les echanges avec le proorietaire ainsi que la personne qui nous a accueillie! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Die perfekte Villa für einen Urlaub in der Provence!!!

Alles ist wie beschrieben: die Ausstattung, die ruhige Lage, der Garten mit Pool, einfach perfekt. Man fühlt sich bereits nach einem Tag wie als wäre es das eigene Zuhause und fragt sich warum die eigenen vier Wände nicht diesen Grundriss und diese Austattung aufweisen. Es fehlt an nichts. Angefangen mit einem French-Door Kühlschrank mit Wasser- und Eiswürfelspender, einer Espressomaschine, Backofen, Spülmaschine, bis zu einer Bierzapfablage uvm. Die Kinder waren nicht aus dem Pool zu kriegen, der bis Ende Oktober beheizt wird und eine Temperatur von 29•C aufweist. Das Zentrum von Plan-de-la-Tour ist fußläufig (über einen kleinen Trampelpfad am Ende der Parallelstraße) zu erreichen und bieten alles was man zum Leben braucht: einen Supermarkt, drei Bäckerreien und mehrere Restaurants, nicht zu vergessen den ortsansässigen Winzerverein mit exzellenten Weinen der Region. Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub, der bestimmt im gleichen Haus wiederholt wird!!!

Zalige vakantie gehad met ons gezin (2 volw en 1 kind (2jr). Proper, modern huis met een goede bereikbaarheid naar het dorp en het strand toe. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Ook de keuken was volledig uitgerust met alles wat je maar nodig hebt vom een lekker gerecht klaar te maken. We komen zeker nog eens terug!
