About this apartment rental

Professionally managed vacation rental by Whistler Superior Properties.

Valhalla is a wonderful rental complex known for its spacious floorplans and great location. Situated in the Whistler Village North area, Valhalla is within a 5 minute walk of Whistler's many great restaurants and shops, and sits directly across the street from the Whistler Olympic Plaza and start of the Village Stroll. For skiing, guests can choose to walk approximately 10 minutes to base of the Whistler Blackcomb gondolas or utilize the free shuttle which passes right out front.

Valhalla #17 is a spacious, three level property with many upgrades and desirable amenities throughout. Entry is on the ground level which has a small mudroom area perfect for storing skis, boots and jackets. The main level has an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with big windows and lots of natural light. The kitchen is fully upgraded with granite countertops and well-appointed appliances and this level also has a deck, mounted flat-screen television, gas f/p, washer dryer and a ½ bathroom. The top floor of the property has both large bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom and ceiling fan. The master bedroom with King bed has a flat-screen T.V. and a bathroom with soaker tub while the second bedroom has two twins and a bathroom with a shower stall. Guests at Valhalla will also enjoy the communal hot tub.

This property is professionally managed with 24/7 in-resort guest support. It includes free wireless internet, a digital cable television package and free underground parking.

The location is perfect! Just a short walk and you are in the Village or on a trail. The area is mostly calm and quiet. Out of our 14 night stay, we were only woken one night due to a loud party across from the jacuzzi. We were very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of the unit! Food and grime on the kitchen cabinets, mold in the washing machine, the master bedroom shower curtain had pink mold (A. pullulans) at least one foot from the bottom of the curtain up, one of the extra blankets was completely covered in black dog hair, the other blanket had not been washed from the previous guests use. The twin bed coverlets had black dog hair on them, as well as mold in the shower door. l cleaned the cabinets, refrigerator, and washer. Unfortunately, the washer had been neglected too long for me to remove all of the mold. I replaced the shower curtain. After washing the blanket with the dog hair, I collected the lint from the dryer vent, put it into a zip lock, and took it along with the moldy shower curtain over to the check in office. I was told they are not responsible for our unit? The next day, I called Whistler Superior Properties and shared my disappointment. I was told "sorry, they could have provided a clean shower curtain" and that my concerns would be passed on. When we make our reservations for 2025, we will shy away from Whistler Superior Properties.
