A huge lower-level rec room includes a Xbox, Game Cube, poker table, pool table, ping pong table, foosball, shuffleboard, and a basketball-style arcade game, as well as board games which is perfect for rainy days or a nighttime retreat after a long day on the water. Relax in the main level game room with features a bar and another ping pong table! Tie up your boat or jet ski at one of the two boat slips or take out one of the two tandem or single kayaks. There is room to roam in the large yard with a private beach.

The house is beautiful, spacious (we joked that we needed ground transportation just to get from one side of the kitchen to the other), and relatively clean; it is not beat up or abused. It worked well for our extended family with 12 adults and 11 kids (ages 5 to 16). Furniture and beds are in good shape and inviting. The game room was well received by kids and adults, including some legacy video games! The deck is expansive and a great hangout especially in the mornings (morning sun before the temps get too hot) and evenings (before it gets too buggy out, but after the sun has dipped behind the house), with two nice gas grills and ample soft seating. The hot tub was clean and nice. The dock is really a great place to hang out (sun and shade areas available with ample seating and tables), the water is deep enough for kids to have fun but still be able to touch, and the bottom is not all slimy (bring water shoes as the rocks can be a little hard on bare feet). There's a private boat launch labeled for the "community owners and guests" immediately adjacent to the Great Escape property (inquire in advance about access since it's locked). The house is located very close to a Food Lion and multiple restaurants.

Improvement of outdoor furniture and swing set noted from last year. Many repairs were needed through out the week. Needs equipped for a large group regarding kitchen items
