Its location is full South with private access. Perfect for 6 people, it is richly equipped and will seduce you with its brightness. An attached garage will allow you to store your equipment. Located 3 minutes from the city center, it is close to several cable cars and the small shopping center of the Pilgrims. There is the Pèlerins train station and a bus station 100 meters away for people without a vehicle. Adjoining the garage, it is not overlooked and surrounded by a large meadow beyond the garden and parking lot.

We have just returned from a great week, the chalet was great, nice and clean with everything you require for a stay. The kitchen is well equipped with spices and a few sauces sugar etc. Jacky was very helpful to us as he knows the local area really well, he gave us advice for buses up to the ski areas. We tended to jump the number 2 bus most days and the bus stop is just up from the school around the corner. We walked into town one day and that is straight forward didn't take long at all to get there. We skied the whole valley and had a great time, it is quite expensive on the slopes but I think thats all areas. We brought over a google chrome and worked fine on the TV, so if you get sick off BBC news you can stream through. But great week and Jacky was a fab host and he will help with anything you require. Maybe we'll be back in the future. Enjoy your stay.

A perfect base for exploring the mountains. Our host Jacky was very helpful and knowledgeable and easy to contact. We will definitely be back!

Traveling with small children, Jacky’s backyard was a wonderful feature. We spent plenty of time playing there and on the deck, appreciating the gorgeous views. A walk into town took us ~25 min or so and 10 min to the market. Was a lovely stay; would recommend!

This chalet was built very charming; post and beam construction, a lot of exposed wood and lovely details. The chalet was extremely well outfitted, including the kitchen. We cooked almost every night and did not find anything missing. It was also immaculately clean. The view of Aguille du Midi was spectacular from the windows and I could not think of a better place to drink our morning coffee and enjoying the views. The chalet is walking distance into town (Chamonix) and we did not need a car. We were provided with a bus and train pass for the valley and were able to explore other villages and walk or ride between each village or access various hiking trails from the chalet and from the other villages. Our host, Jacky was the most attentive that I have experienced from a VRBO vacation. He offered (and did) pick us up from the bus station when we arrived and when we ended our trip. He provided numerous resources of train schedules, bus schedules, maps and local attractions. Since our goal was to hike each day, his suggestion to visit the Mountain House was invaluable. After returning home, I realized that I left behind a local artist created pillow case with the famed marmot and Jacky kindly mailed it to me. It is good to know that the property is near a highway. It is totally obscured by trees but if you are in the backyard (where the view of the mountains are), you will hear the noise. This did not bother us, as we were indoors due to the season.

Jacky welcomed us really nice and polite. Explained us everything. Speaking was a bit difficult because we didn‘t really speak French. But in the End it worked out. Location is great, such a lovely place to hike and see awesome places. Really clean and nice chalet. Perfect location to directly start the hiking tour. Short way to near supermarket. We would go there again!

A fabulous property with amazing views close to local shops, bus and train station. Note that cleaning and linen were chargeable extras not detailed in the listing. Jacky graciously waived these fees after querying . We’d definitely recommend this property - it’s excellently presented, comfortable beds and very well positioned.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place! Looking up at Mont Blanc from the patio every day and watching climbers and paragliders was just amazing. The house was clean and well-appointed and our host, Jacky, could not have been more gracious and helpful. The photos and items from his climbing adventures which decorated the walls made this a truly unique place to stay. We did not want to leave!

We stayed here for a week in the summer and absolutely loved it. It's a cozy wooden chalet with incredible views of both sides of Chamonix valley. It's well-situated, within walking distance to a small lake and within a 7 minute drive to Chamonix center. Jacky is a gracious and flexible host. The home is on the edge of town which has pros and cons: the house has unobstructed views of Mont Blanc, with only a field and tree line between you and the mountains. On the other hand, you're quite close to the highway, which is very audible from the yard and from inside if you have the windows open. For us this became like the ticking of a clock, it faded into the background and didn't spoil our stay, but at first it was much louder than I expected and I wished someone had told me about it in the reviews.

From start to finish everything was perfect. Chalet was as described and amazing.if anything better than described. Location extremely impressive you could not have better view. Jacky our host was helpful and could not do enough for us. Everything was perfect do yourself a favour and book this place look no further it's perfect. The chalet is equipped with everything you could need, and extremely comfortable. Stunning scenery from the lounge, and really quiet, even though very accessible to the main road into Chamonix. Free buses nearby, so although we had a car it isn't necessary if you don't have one. Easy walk to the local supermarket and bakery even in deep snow! Can definitely recommend the bakery for breakfast croissants etc. Also a really nice little restaurant 'La Crémerie des Aiguilles' about 15 minutes walk away.Jacky the host is exceptionally helpful; his English much better than my French. Would highly recommend this property, and would love to return to it either in winter again, or the summertime.

We have just spent 11 days at this excellent chalet which has spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains . The location is very quiet and suitable for those without a car as the free buses are a short walk away as is the train. The owner, Jacky, is a friendly and helpful host.

Quelle belle semaine! Nous étions une famille de cinq personnes et il y avait amplement d'espace pour nous tous. Le chalet est très bien équipé et soigné. La vue est splendide et l'endroit est calme. Jacky le propriétaire est très attentionné, serviable et à l'écoute de ses invités. Nous sommes choyés et ravis d'avoir séjourner ici. C'est un moment qui restera gravé dans nos mémoires. Het huis is fantastisch, van alle gemakken voorzien, helemaal compleet. Voel je thuis zoals je thuis bent , zo worden wij ontvangen. Jacky is enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vanwege de hond hebben wij geen gebruik gemaakt van de bovenverdieping ,we waren toch maar met zijn 2en. De slaapkamer beneden was wel kleiner maar waarschijnlijk ook koeler . Het uitzicht is werkelijk magnifiek. Wat een genot om daar tegen aan te kijken. Je kunt alle kanten op vanaf dit punt. Montreux (prachtig), Italië via montblanc tunnel( met korting via Jacky). Maar ook gewoon in de buurt wandelen. Bij het afscheid bleef de hond naast jacky in het huis staan. En dat begrijpen we. Wat een plek. Enige minpunt, het geluid van de weg. La maison est fantastique, entièrement équipée, complètement complète. Se sentir chez soi comme on est chez soi, c'est ainsi que nous sommes reçus. Jacky est extrêmement sympathique et serviable. A cause du chien nous n'avons pas utilisé l'étage supérieur, nous n'étions que 2. La chambre du bas était plus petite mais probablement plus fraîche. La vue est vraiment magnifique. Quel bonheur de regarder ça. Vous pouvez aller n'importe où à partir de ce point. Montreux (magnifique), Italie via le tunnel de Montblanc (avec une réduction via Jacky). Mais aussi juste se promener dans le quartier. Lors de la séparation, le chien est resté dans la maison à côté de Jacky. Et nous le comprenons. Quel endroit. Seul bémol, le bruit de la route.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine grâce a la convivialité et aux conseils de notre hôte Jacky et à son chalet très confortable et parfaitement équipé ! Son emplacement proche du centre ville nous a permis de ne pas utiliser la voiture pour faire toutes les activités du secteur (aiguille du midi, mer de glace …). Et la vue sur l’aiguille, le glacier des bossons et le mont Blanc est à couper le souffle !

Chalet tout à fait conforme à l'annonce: très lumineux grâce à de belles baies vitrées au RDC et à l'étage. Il est idéalement placé à proximité d'un arrêt de bus qui permet de profiter des lignes de bus pour transiter dans la vallée sans être obligé de prendre la voiture ( sans frais supplémentaire). Le chalet est bien entretenu, propre, bien equipé. Il est situé en face de l'aiguille du midi et du glacier des bossons, ce qui permet d'avoir une vue exceptionnelle sur la montagne. Le propriétaire est très disponible et attentionné pour vous donner d'excellent conseil pour votre sévour dans la région.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le gîte de Jacky. La communication avant et pendant le séjour était très bonne. Nous avons passé un super séjour ! L’emplacement du chalet est super pour tout , aussi bien au niveau exposition soleil qu’aux niveaux emplacements commerces ! Nous sommes au pied du Mont-Blanc , magnifique paysage ! L’accueil du propriétaire est top ! Jacky est très à l’écoute , et donne de très bons conseils pour les choses à faire sur place . Même si cette année il n’y a pas eu de remontés mécaniques , on ne s’ennuie pas avec les randonnées à faire ! Merci Jacky. À bientôt !
