About this apartment rental
The apartment, with private terraces, a garden and parking, is in a residential area close to the country village on the height (and its restaurants) VALL - LLOBREGA. Our guests have the exclusive use of a magnificent infinity sea water swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace for sunbathing while admiring the view of the surrounding countryside and the sea. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you can just stay at home and laze by the pool or go for a swim (5 minutes on the beautiful beaches (blue flag ), or if you prefer to go golfing, strolling or discovering the architectural wonders of Catalonia's historic sites. There are many bars and restaurants in the area and if you like the nightlife, Platja d'Aro is close by with its beautiful shops, its famous Tapas bars of the very traditional Palamos harbor.
The coast, beaches and tourist attractions: The Costa Brava (the wild coast) is one of the most attractive areas of the Spanish coastline with rocky bays alternating with long sandy beaches. To swim, there are many beaches classified as Blue Flag 4 and 5 stars including some in the small bays of picturesque coastal towns (Tamariu, Calella de Palafrugell, Fosca) or reached by coastal paths and long beaches sand in larger resorts. Children will love the acres of golden sandy beaches near Palamos or Sant Antoni de Calonge, permanently guarded by lifeguards, or the huge water park of Platja d 'Aro. The City Council organizes free activities for children in summer, parties and cultural events. Lovers of architecture and history, visit the interesting sites of the region, medieval villages, Romanesque churches, museum DALI Figueras, Roman ruins of Empuriabrava without forgetting the city of BARCELONA.
Golf, walking and cycling. There are excellent golf courses and competitions within a half hour drive, including a Pitch and Putt 10 minutes away. Walking enthusiasts can stroll through the surrounding hilly countryside or enjoy the views along the Catalan coastal paths, when the weather is not too hot, hikers can discover the marked trails through the nearby hills of Gavarres or venture further to the Pyrenees. There are also beautiful cycle tracks on the road or not so there is no need to take your car.
Shops and restaurant: If you do not feel like driving, you can walk to the village of Vall-Llobrega and eat or drink a pot in one of the restaurant and bar, buy the necessities at the small bakery from the village then there is the super DIA otherwise in Palamos there is everything.

For the second time, we had a peaceful, stress free holiday. The pool is a real bonus to add to the very comfortable apartment attached to the main house. Plenty of restaurants are just a short drive away, but alternatively, staying in to cook or have a light meal is so appealing to sit on the terrace as the sun goes down. We shall return yet again.

Micheline, who lives on the second floor of the building, was the perfect host. Always there if you need her, but otherwise kept out of your way. The Pool is amazing. The kids loved it.
On arrival there were items in the fridge and a huge bowl of veg and fruit on the side, which is above and beyond what we expect. Inside, the place is small but great. However the outdoor area - terrace again is where you spend your time and is lovely, and huge. Great sunsets and sunrises from the terrace.
We stayed for 2 weeks and the apartments was cleaned mid way which again was a very nice touch.
One thing to be aware off which we didn't pick up on from the info is that the second room is actually separate to the rest of the flat. You have to leave the main door to the flat, walk along your own terrace to get to the other door. It's totally safe and this was not a problem for us, however families with younger children may find this an issue (leaving yours kids in a separate room).
The rooms are lovely. Well kept. The kitchen is well stocked. There was also a small oven and a microwave - we basically used the grill / BBQ outside most of the time.
I can honestly say I have never met a nicer host than Micheline on ANY holiday. Thankyou. We hope to return!

Han sido unas vacaciones perfectas, Micheline para definirla en una palabra: es un sol, hemos estado como en casa. Es ideal para ir en familia, con una piscina increible y limpieza de la casa impecable.
