Charming apartment in the historic center

We were so fortunate to have stayed in this charming centrally located first floor home close to Campo De Fiori and Piazza Navona. Pina and her husband greeted us upon arrival explaining amenities, entrance and safety features helping create such an authentic Rome experience. Great communication from inquiry to departure. We immediately felt at home. Inside was cozy, comfortable and peaceful with everything you needed and more. Street-side balcony views with Emmas Pizzaria/Restaurant across the street. Roscoli’s, morning Cafe bars, Largo Argentina, grocery shopping, taxi stands …so much close by. We can’t thank our hosts enough for welcoming us and sharing their local recommendations.

This is a fantastic apartment. It is centrally located in Campo dei Fiori and close to many restaurants and beautiful sites. Highly recommended!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was in a lovely neighborhood with great shops and restaurants nearby. Francesca was super helpful and made herself available for assistance at a moment’s notice if needed. We loved the warm feel of the apartment and the history it contained. The laundry option was nice to have do cut down on all the clothes we had to bring. We loved the shutters on all the windows, especially in the bedroom. It helped us to acclimate to the time change better. We would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Rome. Should we return it would definitely be where we prefer to stay.

The apartment was amazing! It was like a museum decorated throughout like stepping back in time in Italy. The communication was good before my arrival. I let the owner know I was coming in on a late flight (1AM arrival) and could they accommodate. They assured me that would be okay and his housekeeper would be there to meet me. Right before my arrival the housekeeper informed me it was too late to meet and could I stop at her mothers house along the way and pick up the keys. Her mother was very nice and I was able to pick up the keys. The taxi driver charged me an extra 10 euros for the stop. Because I was in late and had no plans in the morning I was hoping to sleep in when I was awoken 0830 by a constant very loud drilling in the walls. This went on all morning. I could not sleep let alone here myself think. So much for a relaxing day. I recorded the very loud continuous sound and sent it to the owner. They apologized and said they would find out what was going on. Apparently the workers would be there my entire stay. 3 nights. Fortunately I was up the next day early touring so I was not there. If I wanted to enjoy the apartment during the day I would have moved. The housekeeper did not show up the following day but her mom came to check me in who did not speak english but was very nice and we managed with a translation app. The apartment was beautiful but I recommend to the owners to let the renter know if there is construction going on and maybe give a discount.
