About this house rental
The Bungalow on the water N ° 3 is the only bungalow on stilts which offers to your glance, since the comfortable living-room equipped with a "design" kitchen, a panoramic view of 180 degrees on the famous blue and turquoise lagoon of Bora Bora with the coconut palm trees surrounding the island on the horizon.
It is not without reason that this luxurious bungalow was once owned by famed Hollywood actor Jack Nicholson.
Rest, sunbathing, swimming, sunset, romantic dinner ..... !!!!! One hundred and ten square meters of happiness ...... !!!!
The Overwater Bungalow is in a condominium called by everyone in Bora Bora the Condominium since 1978 date of its creation.
It is a quiet, residential place, located in the north of the island, with a small beach, facing the sun from morning to evening, with the east wind most of the time ...
Access can only be by the 31 km circular road around the island of Bora ... the village of Vaitape is located about ten kilometers west side ....
Housing
There are only 5 private overwater bungalows in Bora Bora.
Number 3 is the most recent and all its charm comes from the panoramic view of its large living room with American kitchen which opens onto the terrace overlooking the lagoon by a large picture window.
This spacious living room with marble tiles is very pleasant and relaxing.
Comfortably seated on your sofa with the Apple TV, you can stay in touch with the world and watch your favorite programs. A "Bose Sound Touch" is also available, just load the application.
The corner kitchen with its central island is very user-friendly and its equipment is complete.
Two magnificent paintings by "Dubois", a renowned painter, in Tahiti evoke local life.
The air-conditioned bedroom with its queen size bed and several cupboards for your storage is at the rear and communicates with the bathroom equipped with a large walk-in shower facing a glass paste sink.
A television, facing the bed, also associated with an Apple TV and a large work table complete the layout.
The walls are in New Zealand pine wood and the tinted windows are double.
The bungalow is firmly seated on steel piles 9 meters deep and has benefited from the same structures as the construction of the most recent hotels.
A large Kohu slat terrace awaits you with two soft "Sunbaths" for you to rest. Two deckchairs are on the deck to perfect your tan ...
A table facing the lagoon will allow you pleasant breakfasts, meals and dinners in the evening, the lit lagoon under your feet attracting many fish that sparkle in the spots .....
A private mezzanine overlooks the living room, its access is closed.
Situation and access and JESSICA
Overwater Bungalow N ° 3 is located on the main island of Bora Bora just opposite your arrival at the airport. It is part of what is commonly called the
"Condominium" in Bora Bora in the Faanui district.
This condominium is a condominium of 16 Bungalows, 5 of which are on stilts.
To access bungalow N ° 3 you have to take the central pontoon and it's sign is displayed.
There is a Barthelemy caretaker and a Nathalie caretaker who are not in charge of rentals.
When you arrive at Bora Bora airport you will take the Air Tahiti shuttle which will take you in fifteen minutes to the Vaitape quay in town.
There, following your discussions with Jessica, a Taxi will take you to Bungalow N ° 3 or Jessica will wait for you and take care of you. She will show you around the bungalow, give you all the good advice to make your stay as pleasant as possible and give you the keys.
Free Wi-Fi and a landline phone work in the bungalow for local calls only.
The Condominium is located in a quiet location
You will have access to the entire ground floor of the bungalow, 110 m2.
In the cupboards on the back of the terrace you will find all the nautical equipment: inflatable buoys, fins, masks, foam fries, paddles for kayaking, lifebuoys
On the deck you will find the Kayak easy to put on or take out of the water,
and on the terrace a barbecue for your grills.
Many activities are offered on the island and the nautical activities boats are likely to pick you up directly at the pontoon of your
Jessica will provide you with the best information for your reservations.
Transport
As the village, the shops, the restaurants, the activities are not on the spot it is preferable to rent a small car to take full advantage of Bora Bora.
Jessica can offer you a very advantageous rental !!!
A roadside parking is provided for cars of the Condominium.

We stayed at this bungalow over Christmas 2024, and it was everything we hoped for and more. If you're looking for complete tranquility, this is the place to be. The location is ideal—secluded enough to provide a sense of peace, yet close to all the amenities you need on the island.The bungalow itself was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the abundant sea life right below the patio, making daily snorkeling a real treat.The hosts Jessica and Tasha were fantastic—always helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We also rented a car from them, which I highly recommend. It made getting around the island, going to restaurants, and picking up groceries so much easier. Without a car, some of these activities would have been quite inconvenient.Although there were great tours available, we found ourselves spending most of our time at the bungalow, enjoying the ocean, the views, and simply relaxing on the deck. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with all the right amenities, this bungalow is the perfect choice!Thank you again for all your help Tasha, Jessica!!! Sergiy and MarianaP.S. We have already started planning our return!

If you are looking for a modern over the water well maintained property with notoriety (aka Jack Nicholson's x digs) then this is your place.
If you are comfortable with tour boats stopping by to take pics while you are on the deck, then this is your place.
I you love watching motorboats and sailboats approx 50 per day not counting jet ski tours, five at a time half a dozen times per day then this is your place.
if you are OK with the property being adjacent to a small public beach with a picnic table and people floating around the bungalow in "noodles" then this is you place.
If you don't mind having a camera above the sun tanning deck, then this is your place.
If you are OK with a DIY check in with Jessica or Tasha nowhere to be seen, then this is your place.
PS: they were not even on BB.
If you are OK with the DIY approach to how everything works in the house based on a manual, then this is your place.
If you are OK finding you car rental in pouring rain pulling your luggage in a sandy parking lot at the ferry terminal based on a pic amongst hundreds of cars, then this is your place.
If you are looking for a peaceful quiet property with zen, then this is NOT your place.
