About this house rental
Situated in a luxuriant and quiet countryside, the property mixes the charm of a seigniorial house (3 meters large stone renaissance firesplaces, beams, "à la française" garden...) and all the modern comfort (internet, numerous equipments).
The house has a fully-equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, a lounge with fireplace, three big bedrooms : the "master" one containing a big double bed, a fireplace, beams, mullioned windows, one other contains two beds and the third one containing one bed and two others stacked.
The garden about 6000 m2 is completely closed. It contains an orchard, a "à la française" garden, chapel and numerous places to stand depending on your desires.
Stores are only a few kilometers far.
The adults will find the unique charm of an old historic property with all the comfort and the peace to relax and a great starting point for exploring the very numerous possibilities of visits and discoveries of the region.
The children will find a very large completely secured garden, one trampoline, go kart, bikes and numerous games for unforgettable moments.

We had a wonderful week in the house in Sermaise. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The huge garden provided endless entertainment for our 3 children who enjoyed all of the activities provided, mostly the go kart and the hot tub. The house was beautifully kept and well positioned to explore Anjou. It was lovely having the grounds to ourselves and we could easily have stayed for another week. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful time in La Coudre!
It is a lovely historic property set in its own well tended grounds all of which are for the guests sole use. It is incredibly peaceful and the garden and jacuzzi were a very relaxing place to be. The area offers many things to see and do and there is something for everyone’s taste.
Arnaud the host was lovely and very generous leaving us home made juice and a bottle of cremant as well as kindly letting us eat the fruit and vegetables (which were plentiful!) from the garden.We were very sad to have to leave at the end of our stay! Thank you so much Arnaud for letting us stay in your lovely house!

Our family loved every minute of our stay in this impressive house. We were blessed with very good weather so had plenty of time to explore the magnificent castles in the area and then return home to sit in the wonderful gardens of La Coudre, having a BBQ while enjoying family conversation and laughter - such a relaxed and wonderful place to be. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and very kind. They both spoke English very well, which we were thankful for as our French is tres mauvais! We would absolutely love to return here. We have been coming to France for many years and this is by far the most beautiful home we have stayed in. Thank you so much Arnaud and Segolene!

Accueil très sympathique, propriété impeccable et extrêmement propre. Extérieur superbe et parfaitement bien entretenu. Très bien équipé. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable.
