The location of this property is amazing - it's right across from the beach with a lifeguard stand; close to stores, groceries, restaurants. Very close to a tram stop if you want to cruise up the coast. The actual unit needs....a lot. It came with nothing - no toilet paper, no soap, no trash bags. We had to pay extra for towels and linens and to have the unit cleaned unless we wanted to do it. (Not sure how we would have done that, there was a vacuum and mop but no cleaning supplies.) After renting the unit I contacted the owner and asked about linens and towels and so I did know I would need to pay extra for those, but only because I asked. There were no trash bags and after check in we went back to the property manager and asked about that and were told we had to supply our own trash bags (who brings trash bags on a vacation?) and we had to dispose of our own trash. And the dumpster was right outside but you had to pay 50 euro cents to dump the trash. The only recycling was for glass bottles, which was free. There was no toilet paper in the unit! What on earth? There was a dishwasher with no dishwasher cleaner. None of this was noted in the listing. The property managers didn't even tell us about the trash until we asked about it. The unit also needs a lot of work. It has been lived in hard. Windows broken, curtains broken, blinds in disrepair, water marks and other damage to walls. Not the worst place I've stayed but by far not the best.

The appartment is placed on the 6th floor, so e broken lift is not good. But that is the only bad thing to say. The wiev, the location, the parking possibilities and the beach makes Davids appartment a hidden pearl. Ostend could be southern Europe - but just much easier.

Mit Kindern sehr sehr angenehm. Lage war super schön. Kommunikation mit der Agentur war fast unmöglich da nie erreichbar. Leider war die Wohnung nicht wirklich sauber. Man hat so ein tolles Panoramafenster und kann kaum rausschauen, da es so schmutzig ist. Auch war das Schlafsofa eine Katastrophe. Es sind Bezüge drüber da das Leder unten drunter bei Berührung in Tausend Teile zerbröckelt. Auch sind die Kissen auf dem Sofa echt eklig. Für zwei Nächte war es ausreichend.

Court séjour et dépaysement assuré tant la vue depuis le séjour est vaste et dégagée. L'appartement est bien équipé, tant en matériel qu'en vaisselle. Bémols: pas même 1 rouleau de papier toilette ni 1 sac poubelle à notre arrivée... dommage L'entretien du lieu n'est sûrement pas assez suivi, nous avons restitué le lieu plus propre qu'à notre arrivée. La résidence est très calme, l'appartement agréablement bien chauffé déjà à notre arrivée... très appréciable Idéal pour 2 voire 4 personnes

Lage und Umgebung direkt am Strand sind in Ordnung, Parkplätze und Einkaufmöglichkeiten (Bäcker, Supermarkt) in direkter Nähe. Die Essensgerüche des Schnellimbiss im Erdgeschoss werden als unangenehm empfunden. Im Appartement sind einzelne Steckdosen defekt. Das Küchenfenster schließt bei starkem Wind nicht dicht ab (Dichtung kaputt ?), so dass der Wind durch das Appartement pfeift. Die Ausstattung von Küche und Esszimmer sind gut und vollständig.

Die Lage war Super. leider braucht die wohnung an der ein oder anderen Stelle etwas Arbeit . Steckdose hing aus der Wand, Birnen in mehreren Lampen defekt. Und leider war es auch nicht sauber. Küche und Badezimmer hatten Haare und Schmutz an mehreren Stellen. Die schlüsselübergabe hat nicht funktioniert, nach verschiedenen Nummern abtelefonieren haben Wir mit einem nicht ganz so freundlichen Mann telefonieren müssen. Möchte da ausdrücklich sagen das war nicht der Vermieter sondern die Firma die die übergabe der Schlüssel handhabt.

De woning ligt ideaal gelegen. Nabij warenhuis, heerlijk op de dijk, met een waanzinnig zicht op de zee, het strand en de dijk. Onthaal en medewerking top! Jammer, maar niet heel erg, stond er nog een vuil glas in de badkamerkast en was de pedaalemmer in de badkamer niet geledigd. Hier en daar ontbrak er toch een lamp in de verlichting, en er zaten grote gaten in de muur.

Wunderbare Aussicht , 6.Etage (mit Fahrstuhl) direkt am Strand, Küche bestens ausgestattet. Wohnzimmersofa ziemlich verlebt- wir haben ein Spannbettuch drüber gemacht, dann war es ok. Gratis- Parkplatz und Supermarkt in der Nähe, Waschsalon und super Bäcker direkt um die Ecke, leckerer Imbiss (Nel‘s Kitchen) wenige Häuser weiter. Insgesamt super Strandurlaub Für groß und klein mit unendlichen Möglichkeiten zu buddeln, das Meer zu genießen und einen unkomplizierten Urlaub zu verbringen.

Diese Wohnung überzeugt durch einen einfach unschlagbaren Ausblick auf das Meer und die Promenade! Man kann zu jeder Zeit einfach nur mit einem Kaffee oder Glas Wein dort sitzen und die Aussicht geniessen. Aber leider gibt es auch ein Paar Punkte, die angesprochen werden müssen und in der Beschreibung nicht aufgeführt bzw. zu erkennen sind. So befindet sich im Gebäude ein Schnellimbiss, dessen vor allem Friteusengerüche durch das Haus bis in die Wohnung ziehen. Während Badezimmer und Küche relativ neu und in einem wirklich guten Zustand sind, sind alle anderen Möbel und Gardinen in einem teils schlimmen Zustand und schreien geradezu nach einem Austausch. Auch aus der Wand hängende Kabel oder Steckdosen stehen in einem gewissen Widerspruch zum vorhandenen Kinderhochstuhl. Sollte der Vermieter diese Mängel beseitigen wäre eine höhere Gesamtbewetung als drei Sterne sofort möglich.

Apparement au 6eme étage. Conforme à la description. Vue mer exceptionnelles avec grandes fenêtres permettant de se sentir dans la pièce de vie comme sur un grand balcon face à la mer. Plein de placards et de rangements. Cuisine petite mais très bien équipée (lave vaisselle). Petit bémol: salle de bain minuscule avec baignoire d’accès peu pratique pour les enfants et impossible pour les personnes âgées. Proche des commerces et de toutes les composites. Remarque générale sur Mariakerke: seulement 1 mini parking gratuit et plein en permanence. Impossibilité de louer un emplacement à la semaine. Il faut réapprovisionner les parcomètres toutes les 4 heures au risque de se ramasser deux amendes de 25 €/jour en cas de retard. Ça gâche notablement le plaisir de passer une semaine à la plage quand on doit songer sans arrêt à sa voiture.

Wir haben eine sehr schöne, gepflegte Ferienwohnung vorgefunden. Die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert, durch das Immobilienbüro im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Von der 6 Etage hatten wir einen unvergleichlichen Blick über das Meer, der bei jedem Wetter beeindruckend war. Die Ferienwohnung war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten gut. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ging nach hinten zum engen Innenhof zu und war recht dunkel. Da die Zimmer so unterschiedlich waren, denn das größere Schlafzimmer hatten einen traumhaften Meerblick, haben wir die Schlafzimmer in der Hälfte der Zeit getauscht. Die Toilette und das Bad waren recht klein, jedoch ok. Leider gab es kein deutsches Fernsehen, und auch keinen Toaster. Die Küche war jedoch gut ausgestattet und es fehlte nichts. In unserer Zeit viel zweimal der Fahrstuhl aus. Für die 6 Etagen in einem sehr engen Treppenhaus darf man nicht zu unbeweglich sein. Aber ich gehe davon aus, dass das Versagen des Fahrstuhls nicht so häufig vorkommt. Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben viel die Küstenbahn genutzt, die von Knokke bis De Panne fährt, also von ungefähr niederländischer Grenze bis zur französischen Grenze. Mit einer 7-Tage-Karte für 2 Personen (40,00 €) konnten wir soviel und so oft fahren, wie wir wollten. Uns hat das viel Spass gemacht. Es gibt an der gesammten Küste viel zu entdecken und Ostende mochten wir sehr gerne. Also insgesamt ein sehr guter Ort zum Entspannen und Erleben. Bei Fragen an den Vermieter, hat dieser sich schnell gemeldet. Uns war die Zeit zu kurz. Wir wären gerne noch eine Woche länger geblieben. Vielen Dank Marliese Dümont

Super gelegen, direkt am Meer. Prima eingerichtet, Betten waren bequem, alles an Küchenutensilien vorhanden und viel Strandequiptment (Sonnenschirm, Liege, Strandstühlchen, Windfang und Kinderspielzeug). Allerdings war die Küche (Kaffemaschine, Mikrowelle, Backofen) nicht so gut gereinigt. Die Toilette war wegen ihrer Höhe etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber alles in allem: gerne wieder, vielen Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
