Our selection: appt 8 people, warm, quiet, exceptional view!

We had a wonderful stay at Le Col. The apartment is new, spacious, and fully equipped with all amenities. We could not believe how quiet it was. The view from the large balcony was amazing and we spent much time enjoying it. We took full advantage of fully equipped kitchen: we had raclette once and baked bread in the bread maker (tip: use less yeast as it grows too much due to high altitude of the village.) We also enjoyed an occasional romantic evening with fire burning in a very classy wood burning stove. We did a number of beautiful hikes in the area. We absolutelu loved our stay at Le Col and were sad to leave.

Just returned from a lovely week in this beautiful apartment. The property has been tastefully modernised in a sympathetic manner; it is very well equipped and really warm. We were a family of 7 adults and found we had plenty of space, the two shower rooms and separate toilet were handy and prevented any queues in the morning. The beds were all very comfy, but feel the attic room would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility or very young children due to difficult ladder staircase. The apartment is well situated for easy access to the main Valloire ski lift, with a free ski bus every half hour which stops about 100 meters from the door. We found the Valloire/Valmeinier ski area to be a great choice for our mixed ability ski group and despite very little snowfall since November the ski area had worked extremely hard to open as much of the resort as possible with the aid of their artificial snow making capability. On a very slight negative note, we would have found the ability to rent towels helpful, and would have welcomed the provision of tea towels and some toilet rolls on arrival; having said this though, we would most definitely return again in the future and would happily recommend to other renters. The area around Valloire is beautiful. We spent a long week there and you almost don't need to get out of the valley, it has everything that you need. The apartment was very nice, spacious and well-equipped. It had everything we needed. Sadly, to our experience, it wasn't as clean as we hoped. With having allergies, we may have higher than average standards. It felt a bit dusty and the kitchen counter was a litle bit sticky. We approached the host and he was very apologetic and thoughtful. End in all, we had a really nice visit and a good recommendation.
