Beautiful hilltop village. House renovated and equipped to a very high standard with pool and poolside "summer kitchen" as well as kitchen in main part of house. Comfortable beds and excellent bathroom and toilet facilities. One restaurant in village with traditional food. One small shop in village open only for a few hours. Small Sunday market on the place opposite the house with excellent local produce including bread, charcuterie, fruit and vegetables. Most shopping requires car journey to nearby small towns, the nearest being Grignan. A list of market days locally would be useful as would be information about facilities for children - lakes and river swimming as we had difficulty finding these. Clear instructions to find the house would have helped our arrival but the hosts were extremely gracious and welcoming once we found them.

Ma famille restons pour une semaine en Valaurie. On profite de la piscine, le jardin at la ville tranquille. Il y a une deuxieme cuisine en bas de la piscine, parfaite pour passer une journee. La maison, la ville, tout est idyllique.
