About this cottage rental

Located on a very large plot of land planted with trees by the river, with possible swimming and fishing, this independent house planned for 6 people has 2 bedrooms, a convertible sofa on the mezzanine, a bathroom and WC, open fitted kitchen, fireplace. Outside, garden furniture, barbecue, games and equipment for children. Very quiet but close to a small town with all amenities. Departure of country roads and GR from the cottage without taking the car. Weekly rentals but weekends possible on request.
The 18th century water mill is in working order. Demonstrations and theme days on request.
Possibility of fishing and all nature sports (horse riding, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking ...) Discovery of many historic or natural sites: Lot Valley, Pays Rouergat, Aubrac.
Exceptional sites: the gorges of Aveyron, the Grands Causses, the Millau viaduct ...
Castles and ruins will mark all your getaways: Najac, Peyrusse le Roc, Bournazel, Belcastel, ...
Caves open to the public: Foissac, Padirac, Pech Merle ...
Museums with themes such as the Mine (Decazeville), crafts, prehistory, heritage.
Old mills, mines, churches and chapels around the paths ...
The Bastides: Villefranche de Rouergue, Figeac, Villeneuve, are the most beautiful country houses in the region. Conques, essential on the way to St Jacques de Compostelle; Cordes sur Ciel, a small hilltop and picturesque village.
Renowned markets such as Villefranche on Thursday and Figeac on Saturday.
Local products: foie gras, mushrooms, duck, artisanal cured meats, the Marcillac valley with its renowned wine which will have to be tasted (in moderation).
Regional specialties: Stockfish, Truffade, Aligot to taste on the occasion of the numerous country festivals and outdoor meals organized all summer in the surrounding villages.
