Had a fantastic week in Mazot De Charme. It is perfectly sized for two people, well equipped, nice and warm and stylishly decorated. Comes with dedicated parking space and is well positioned for good access to the centre of Samoens and the free bus service to the ski lifts along the valley. This was our first time in Samoens and the mazot added to a great experience and we hope to be back at some point in the future.

The Mazot is a charming property which has been tastefully decorated and loved the wood fired hot tub. Set near to Samoens, a great base to explore the region, Annecy, Let Gets, Morzine and Chamonix, would thoroughly recommend.

The Mazot is very cute from the outside and is fine for a couple in terms of its size but we found some issues with the amenities. The bathroom and kitchen are great, modern and well equipped however the living room is not. There was not enough space for two of us to sit comfortably unless at the table as the sofa is a one person bed. This meant unless you were in bed there wasn’t another option to sit and relax. For us (which is personal preference) the mattress was far too hard which also meant sleeping was not as restful as we wanted during our stay. The hot tub didn’t get to temperature all week so despite many attempts we couldn’t use it which was something we had booked especially for.
