A beautiful stone cottage in a prime position. The cottage was spotless and extremely well equipped.A good size private garden and easy access to local foot paths. I would definitely highly recommend!

Enjoyed our week in le Bono. Well equipped accommodation, great host, would recommend.

The lodging was located in a historical hamlet called Trévien between the nearby towns of Le Bono & Baden. The interior of the house is decorated very elegantly, with exposed ceiling beams in the first floor. The owners are very well organized and explained everything that I needed to know about the house. They had lots of tourist brochures and maps available. All in all, it was quite an enjoyable stay! This was our second stay at this beautiful home, and we will certainly come back for another visit. It is wonderful for a short or long stay. Mr and Mme Gaudin were the most gracious, kind, and helpful hosts. They shared with us many beautiful places to visit within a very short distance and all the amenities that are needed right nearby. They were always available if needed. We enjoyed our walks into the village, along the water, and through the many forest and seaside trails. The house was immaculate, clean, and very comfortable. We were looking for a place that offered all the comforts of home and this was it. The kitchen was furnished with everything and the furniture very comfortable. The beautiful yard and gardens made the stay very relaxing. The entire property has been lovingly cared for. C'était notre deuxième séjour dans cette belle maison et nous reviendrons certainement pour une autre visite. C'est merveilleux pour un court ou long séjour. M. et Mme Gaudin étaient les hôtes les plus aimables, gentils et serviables. Ils ont partagé avec nous de nombreux endroits magnifiques à visiter à une très courte distance et toutes les commodités nécessaires à proximité. Nous avons apprécié nos promenades dans le village, le long de l'eau, et à travers les nombreux sentiers forestiers et balnéaires. La maison était impeccable, propre et très confortable. Nous recherchions un endroit qui offrait tout le confort de la maison et c'était tout. La cuisine était meublée avec tout et le mobilier très confortable. La belle cour et les jardins ont rendu le séjour très relaxant. Toute la propriété a été entretenue avec amour.

Mr et Madame Gaudin were perfect and gracious hosts who met us upon arrival and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for us and shared many local attractions and delicious dining choices. There are many beautiful villages and coastal gems to see nearby. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed coffee and croissants in the morning while listening to the birds and looking out over the lovely landscape. It felt like home. The location was perfect and peaceful with beautiful gardens and close to many amenities. It is a wonderful location for walking, outdoor activities, dining, and exploring village life. We are very appreciative and look forward to our return! Cette belle maison était une merveilleuse trouvaille, dans un endroit charmant, avec des hôtes magnifiques. M. et Madame Gaudin étaient des hôtes parfaits et courtois qui nous ont accueillis à notre arrivée et se sont mis en quatre pour nous assurer une expérience confortable et agréable et ont partagé de nombreuses attractions locales et de délicieux choix de restaurants. Il y a beaucoup de beaux villages et de joyaux côtiers à voir à proximité. Les lits et les meubles étaient très confortables et la cuisine bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié le café et les croissants le matin tout en écoutant les oiseaux et en admirant le magnifique paysage. C'était comme à la maison. L'emplacement était parfait et paisible avec de beaux jardins et à proximité de nombreuses commodités. C'est un endroit merveilleux pour la marche, les activités de plein air, les repas et la découverte de la vie du village. Nous sommes très reconnaissants et attendons avec impatience notre retour!

In a convenient location in close proximity to the gulf of Morbihan. Wide selection of places to visit all within easy driving distance. Nice and quiet with very private rear garden fully equipped with outdoor furniture. Many thanks to the gitte owners Mr. & Mrs. Gaudin for their hospitality.

The cottage is beautifully located down a quiet lane, on what had been a farm property, and it overlooks pleasant meadows filled with wild flowers on the outskirts of a charming coastal village. The grounds are immaculately kept - as is the cottage itself. Formerly a barn, the building is one of several sharing a courtyard, but there is ample privacy and there is an enclosed and absolutely private garden in the back. The building has been meticulously and thoroughly modernized and updated with the latest in amenities (HDTV, wireless, dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc.). The walls are comprised of stone blocks several feet thick. Amazing original and huge wood beams that have to be centuries old add charm to the living room. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with overstuffed leather couch and arm chairs. A lovely fireplace that we'd hoped to need to use but the weather was too warm to justify it! The décor is modern and tasteful - original artwork (paintings) adorns the walls, many of them painted by the owner's family! There is even a garage available for those wanting to use one. Everything, from appliances to utensils, is new. Useful information on area attractions is supplied. The kitchen is large, with a dining table that would easily accommodate six diners. Two lovely bedrooms upstairs, a lovely full bath upstairs and a half-bath on the main level. You simply could not ask for more. The owners are friendly folks who met us upon arrival (they speak relatively little English so you may want to brush up on your French, or have your 'google translate' close at hand! Don't let this deter you!). Across the road, there is access to a spectacular coastal walking trail that leads to the historic harbor of Le Bon, taking you directly by a burial mound that is thousands of years old. Corresponding with the owners by email prior to our arrival necessitated that we use "Google Translate" to be sure that we were accurately communicating with them. Again, don't let this deter you! This place is a gem in a spectacular corner of France. Don't miss the delicious local oysters! A large supermarket is just a couple miles away; a smaller but well stocked one is located right in LeBono. We particularly enjoyed Vannes, a medieval port city, only 15-20 minutes away and various hikes. Neighbouring Auray was also worth visiting . Les Alizes was a great spot to eat in LeBono, and we picked up a nice painting by a local artist there.
