Charming cottage golden stone decorated with taste, exceptional services for 6 people located in the Beaujolais and 25 minutes from Lyon. Panoramic view of the Val de Saône. 3 bedrooms, a mezzanine, a bright kitchen area with views of 35 m2, a + garden of 600 m2 with a spa (5 places). Facilities: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, piano cooking, microwave, floor heating, shower with curtain of rain. Located near the routes of communication (Anse Station (5min) Lyon Part Dieu (30 min), Airport (45 min), Highways (5 min)) the position of the house allows to visit the region Rhône Alpes, Bourgogne and Auvergne less 2 hours.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the cottage in Anse! The space was absolutely perfect. The hot tub (spa) was a great way to end our stay. The location of the property is very convenient to many attractions. The panoramic view is breathtaking especially during sunrise. Most importantly, Annabelle and Damien are extremely hospitable, friendly, responsive and passionate! Thank you. We highly recommend the property!

We chose this gite because we had tickets for the Rugby World Cup matches in Lyon. It was really easy to get to the stadium and the location of the gite provided us with a calm place to relax between the matches. The gite was very comfortable and the views are amazing! We particularly enjoyed sitting in the hot tub looking at the stars. Annabelle and Damien were excellent hosts and gave us helpful advice.

The house is so comfortable and homely with all that you need for a great holiday. The views from the house are amazing and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The hosts Anabelle and Damian were very helpful with any information that wr needed. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay.

Excellent property and location. Very clean. Views wonderful. Easy access via train to Lyon. Station 5 mins away. Plenty of information to inspire local walking in any direction. Local supermarket and boulangerie are good. We stayed for a wedding in Alix and local taxis efficient. Owners very helpful. Highly recommend. We enjoyed our stay . Thank you Annabelle and Damian.

What a lovely house on top of a hill with a spectacular view day and night. Clean and modern house in the Beaujolais wine country. An easy drive to see the amazing villages in the surrounding area. Annabelle and Damien kept us happy and informed. Such helpful and wonderful people, who made sure we had everything we needed. The dishwasher and washing machine were a plus!! I would highly recommend this house for anyone. We want to return one day soon!

One week in this beautiful little house was perfect to experience all the near region has to offer. Easy access to Lyon living on the crest, surrounded by amazing vineyards and villages of character. Wonderful place to cook with local ingredients, drink Beaujolais wines and soak up the morning sunrise.

The cottage has a very spacious living area and two bedrooms, as well as an attic with two single beds that are ideal for children. There is a modern jacuzzi bath in front of the house, which our children loved at any time of the day. The owners live next door, however you hardly ever see them... unless you need something. Furthermore, since the cottage is built of glass, they kept the window facing the cottage locked throughout our stay to safeguard our privacy.We truly recommend this beautiful cottage, and look forward to return ourselves.

We have visited this house the last week of August and we have enjoyed it very well. The house is clean, modern and has everything you need to relax and wind down. The owners, as are there neigbours are very friendly people, speaking fluently English and can help you when you have any questions. The area has something for everyone needs, sports, shopping and big city nearby. Would come back any-time and wished that we could stay longer. Thank you Annabelle and Damien for having us

We had a wonderful time based in the hills overlooking Anse. The gîte is a stylish mix of old and new and became a welcome base for relaxed mornings before and evenings after our various day tours. Anse itself is a charming village, well worth a visit, and is also very well situated for trips around the Beaujolais regions to the north and west, to the fishing lakes (and spectacular bird park) to the west and, of course, to Lyon to the south. Our hosts, who live in the next door house, were welcoming and helpful, and were discreet enough to leave us to do our thing at our own pace. The gîte does get very warm in the sun, but is easy to air and cool in the evenings. We found the beds to be a little on the hard side, but the rooms are really pleasant places to be. We are very happy to have discovered this lovely house in a beautiful location and heartily recommend it to anyone considering this "secret" spot in France!

Beautiful gite in a beautiful setting with great views. Very relaxing gite to come back to after a day out. Warm welcome from Annabelle and Damien providing helpful suggestions for eating, sightseeing etc. they are on site and away from the gite but available if you require something. Anse is a small town but has 2 small food shops. The Beaujolis Trail is very close and easy to access. There are some very pretty villages to enjoy. A great stay (and much appreciated being allowed to stay a little longer due to our late flight). Maggie and Simon

Our family of 5 stayed in Annabelle and Damien’s Gite for 8 days. It is situated just above Anse (gorgeous views out over The Valley, but convenient to get your daily baguette) and has plenty of space for all of us. It is beautifully presented with a well equipped kitchen (and a washing machine). Annabelle and Damien were friendly but gave us space to enjoy the space on our own. One of the nicest gites we’ve stayed in in Europe and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The house is clean, quiet and very well equipped. We were there with a family of four, two of our parents and a niece and that worked out fine. The view from the house is very impressive, as the house has big windows on the front and side: on clear days one can even see the Alps covered with snow. The owners are friendly and helpful. One remark was the internet connection which was for most days terribly slow, hopefully this can be improved. Nevertheless we definitely recommend the house! In the environment there is everything you need: supermarkets in the village, some really good restaurants and we enjoyed a walk in st Bernard. Our favorite was the bird park. Lyon is easy to reach by car or by train (we tried both). we hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We spent 10 relaxing and comfortable days at the Haute Bassieux annex. The property was well equipped, spotlessly clean, had lovely views and the owners were very kind and helpful. With ready access to Lyon, the Beaujolais wine region and the Alps, this is a perfect getaway location we would highly recommend.

Holiday home with a truly amazing view, lots of comfort and room and delightful, helpful hosts.

We stayed in this spacious 2 double bedroom holiday home which sits high on the hill overlooking Anse for a week in September. The view is truly fantastic, in the mornings the sunrises are brilliant, in the evenings the lights over the village and the rest of the valley are worth being home to see and we even had an enormous storm one afternoon which we could watch coming along the valley towards us. The house is very comfortable with a wonderful kitchen and sitting area, large shower and bathroom with washing machine which is great when you are travelling. The hot tub/spa outside is very pleasant on a warm afternoon or evening. The house is a steep walk to the village but a quick 2 minute drive, it is easily accessible to Lyon, either by car or train. The Beaujolais district and villages are wonderful and well worth visiting. A drive to Annecy (2 hour drive) is also well worth the visit. Annabelle and Damien were extremely obliging and friendly hosts.

This location provides a perfect base camp for seeing some of the most beautiful parts of France. The town of Anse has excellent bakeries and grocery stores for those who want to prepare meals. The home is exactly as described with the exception that the views are even more spectacular than expected. The bedrooms are comfortable and the house is very conducive to family time - eating together around the table inside or out, playing games in the evening. The hot tub was delightful - particularly in the evening with a view of the valley and Mt. Blanc below. The week we were there was quite hot, and our only slight discomfort was that the house gets very warm during the day. By evening, the cool breezes made sleeping very enjoyable. We highly recommend this property - Annabelle and Damian are incredibly hospitable and were always willing to address any concerns.

Tout y est parfait et de bon goût. Nous avons passé sept jours de repos dans un calme absolu. Ce gîte adorable, tout neuf super bien équipé a vraiment tous les atouts. Le confort, la vue, le Spa. De plus les hôtes, Anabelle et Damien sont des plus affables et accueillants. Il ne manque rien dans ce petit paradis, même sous la pluie l'arc-en-ciel y paraît! Bel endroit calme situé au sommet d'une colline dont nous avons particulièrement apprécié la vue sur la vallée. Le logement est bien équipé et confortable. L'extérieur avec le jacuzzi nous ont bien plu ainsi que notre fils pour faire du vélo.

Wunderschönes Häuschen mit Blick auf Anse und noch viel viel weiter, je nach Wetter bis zum Mont Blanc. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, vor allem den Whirlpool. Ein Besuch im Touroparc Zoo (mit dem Auto 25min) v. a. mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. Lyon haben wir mit dem Zug (25min) besucht, hat alles wunderbar geklappt.
