House with priceless lake view, exclusive swimming pool and garden

This is a lovely location overlooking Lake Lugano. Easy 20 mins into Menaggio on Lake Como where you can get the water taxis to visit Verena and Bellagio. Couple of things to note - if coming from GB be careful, no WiFi so make sure you have ample data. (The host did give us details for WiFi in another part of the building however we could not find the network). As others have said, the one-way lane the house is on is extremely narrow at one point. Our hire care had 2 inches either side. It would be very hard, if not impossible, in a bigger suv type car. Despite this the view is spectacular and very worth it.

We stayed for a week at this charming property in the hills above Porlezza overlooking Lake Lugano. The property was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The host lives only a short distance away and met us on our arrival day to give us all the necessary information about the house and local area. The house benefits from an amazing swimming pool which kept us cool in the hot sun but there are shady spots outside in the garden too. We can only rate this property with a 5/5 rating as it was so nice. Be aware that vehicle access is via a very narrow road but our BMW 4 series handled it ok…just! The house has an underground garage which was brilliant to keep the car safe and cool. We would love to stay here again as we had such a relaxing and enjoyable time.
