Superb view...

We spent a wonderful week in this nice, spacious and very well equipped apartment. The apartment is located very central and offers a perfect sea view, sometimes one can even see the white cliffs of Dover. The owner is very friendly and helpful and everything went very well and uncomplicated.

The apartment is spacious, well-equipped and family-friendly, but the best thing is definitely the sea view - just magnificent.

The owner has a real gem of a property here. Perfectly located with a knock-out view of the beach and the sea that is every changing and utterly enchanting. The price of the hire informed us that it would be modestly furnished and it is. Expect no frills here, this is not a homely property. It felt almost like a hostel in places and the whole property and some of its furniture was tired and in need or replacement, redecoration and updating. However, the kitchen was very well equipped and there was more than ample crockery, glasses etc. One thing that was very disappointing was the level of cleanliness throughout. Tired and worn can be excused, but not thickly covered in dust, and in places downright filthy, particularly in the bedrooms and bathrooms, which made for an uncomfortable and unrelaxing first night. The owner had suggested that as part of our check-in we could elect to clean the property ourselves on departure or leave an amount of euros for a cleaner. I would say this system isn't working, as clearly either successive previous guests had not cleaned or the cleaner was pocketing the said euros and not doing much else! Either way, this aspect of our stay was very disappointing and was only saved by the glorious weather we experienced and the proximity to a wonderful beach. Would we stay there again? I think so yes, we would love to, but only if we could guarantee that it was cleaned properly, dare I say redecorated and perhaps made a bit more inviting/welcoming in places. Please to the owner, go and take a look, we really wanted to love your property and it could be amazing!
