The apartment park Küstenwald is located in the middle of the Rostock heath. The Rostock heath is with about 6000 square meters the largest coastal forest in Germany. Directly in front of the apartment park cycle and hiking trails run in different directions, whether to Graal-Müritz, to the Fischland-Darss, to Ribnitz-Damgarten or to the "Gelbbensander Jagdschloss". There is a bus stop at the entrance of the property. The bus will take you to Graal-Müritz, Markgrafenheide, Hohe Düne or Klockenhagen, Ribnitz-Damgarten. In the object there is a small restaurant with breakfast and bread service as well as a bicycle rental (seasonal open).
