My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks just enjoying the sun and the silence. Amazingly hot even in September!! The villa is certainly peaceful but all is on hand nearby for everyday living. The fact there was no WiFi (which is not Alains fault) did cause us problems and we wish we had been warned before we left so we could have compensated. The phone signal for our English phones wasn't brilliant which didn't help. The outdoor kitchen is delightful. The two cats that frequented everyday would be ok....if you like cats. The pool was great for keeping you cool and the air conditioning in the living room was appreciated enormously. We did need Alain on a couple of occasions and he came extremely promptly. All in all a nice stray. Thank you Alain.

A lovely property, everything we needed. The outdoor kitchen was great. We used everything there, oven, microwave and built in bbq. Having a dishwasher was a bonus. Nice big fridge/freezer enabled us to buy for the 2 weeks were there. ( Think we left some duck and ice creams in the freezer! Sorry). Although it was very hot ( just what we wanted), the outdoor area stayed cool and between that and the lovely pool we had no problems. Keeping the shutters closed kept the bedrooms at a bearable temperature and the air conditioning in the lounge worked well when we really needed a blast of cold air. The house was easy to find and Alain met us and showed us around the house and how everything worked. Unfortunately the internet was not working in the village, (we saw the men fixing it on our last day!) but that wasn’t a big problem and obviously wasn’t Alains fault. We also had two cats regularly visiting us, which made us all very happy. There is lots to do in this area, we have been around here a few times and revisited a few favourite places, the crocodile farm, St Martin beach, canoeing the ardeche and going up Mont Ventoux (one on a bike, the rest in the car!). The castle in the village is worth going to. Lots of good wine and food, sun and water together with this lovely house enabled us to have a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Recommended to everyone. Just spent a wonderful week at this lovely villa. The owners, Alain and Michelle, live just next door. They gave us a warm welcome and were really helpful throughout the week (our school level French was useful as they don't speak English!). The summer kitchen, shady garden and swimming pool are great with plenty of places for sun worshipers and shade seekers alike. Our kids would have very happily spent the whole week in the pool. All facilities you you could want are nearby: a restaurant and camp site shop around 100m from the villa; cafes and Carrefour supermarket a very short car journey away in Mornas village. There's plenty to do locally: we visited the Ardeche Gorge a few times (swimming, canoeing and sightseeing) and would definitely recommend the Fortress at Mornas. Heartily recommended!

It was a lovely property with lots of space and the outdoor kitchen was fantastic when the weather was good. The pool was a perfect temperature and clean. Room for improvement with the description on the website e.g. there is only air con in the lounge and the bedrooms were incredibly hot at night. It needs to be clearer that there are no linen or towels available and it is costly to hire them. The instructions for finding the property could be clearer. The washing machine didn't work very well. Otherwise we had a lovely time there.

We had a very comfortable stay at these premises. All facilities were available and the landlord was extremely helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was very pleasant and kept extremely well. All facilities were very good, which made our stay very comfortable. There are shops and restaurants within a short drive. All in all, a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

We were welcomed by Alain and Michelle and then left in peace for the two weeks. The outdoor kitchen was wonderful - BBQ's and cooking whilst playing games, reading, drinking wine and relaxing. The house is comfortable and absolutely fit for purpose - with Mornas and Mondragon (carreflour) providing for all the day to day needs. The garden and pool are spacious and attractive and herbs around them were used on a daily basis in our meals. Also check out the steaks at the Bar du Coin (a big surprise). Further afield we recommend Pont du Gard (canoeing as well as walking), Uzes and Avignon - Fou De Fafa (restaurant is a must - check it out on Tripadvisor) and light show at the Palais des Popes was spectacular. Orange is okay though the Ampitheatre is a must see. Also the hilltop villages - starting with Gigondas are beautiful and worth a day trip too. All in all, a lovely holiday with the villa as a superb base.

Très belle maison au calme avec un extérieur magnifique et arboré. La cuisine d'été est très bien équipée. C'est un vrai plus, nous y avons passé la plupart de notre temps. La piscine sécurisée est idéale pour les enfants. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur discrétion, leur disponibilité et les petites attentions qui donnent le sourire.

Wir waren als Gruppe von 7 Erwachsenen eine Woche in dem Haus zu Gast und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Garten ist gepflegt und auch die Boulebahn hat uns viel Freude gemacht. Die Außenküche mit überdachtem Sitzbereich ist das Highlight des Hauses für alle begeisterten Köche und geselligen Menschen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß, aber wir haben sowieso alle Zeit im Freien verbracht. Das Haus war sehr sauber und der Pool wird täglich gereinigt. Wir können das Haus gerne weiterempfehlen, allerdings wäre es für 8 erwachsene Personen etwas eng zum Schlafen.

Nous avons passés de superbes vacances!!! La maison est vraiment adaptée aux enfants en bas âge, la piscine très bien sécurisée, le jardin ombragée , la balançoire ... Le bel atout de cette maison c’est vraiment la cuisine d’été qui est très agréable , nous avons pu passer la semaine dehors et passés de très bons moments en famille

Une location vétuste qui mériterait un coup de neuf et surtout de l’entretien. Vaisselle ébréchée, couteaux cassés, sièges sales. La cuisine d’été est agréable mais soumise aux pollutions des insectes et des nombreux chats errants. Le terrain et le tour de piscine ne sont pas entretenus. Quant au calme il faut faire avec les voisins bruyants, les chiens qui aboient et hurlent à la mort jour et nuit, sans compter sur le couloir aérien militaire qui vient ponctuer l’ambiance sonore. On nous avait promis du calme mais on est loin de ce que l’on attendait. Les propriétaires sont toutefois agréables mais semblent manquer d’investissement et d’empathie pour les clients (aucune information sur la région, les restaurants, les sites à visiter...) même s’ils étaient réactifs à chaque souci. En conclusion, ce n’est pas un bon rapport qualité prix.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Jardin arboré et fleuri, piscine nettoyée tous les matins par le propriétaire. Très bien sécurisée pour un enfant de 2,5 ans. La déco n'était pas forcément à notre goût mais est-ce le plus important pour une semaine de vacances ? Les plus : cuisine d'été (nous n'avons quasiment pas passé de temps à l'intérieur), jardin et petite piscine bien entretenue avec oliviers, lavandes, ... Propriétaires très discrets. Merci pour tout. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour !

Ma famille entière et moi-même avons été ravis de notre séjour chez Alain et Michelle. Le logement est conforme à la description. La cuisine extérieure est vraiment très agréable. La piscine est parfaitement sécurisée et entretenue. Le jardin est très beau et très agréable pour de belles siestes à l’ombre. Très satisfaits de l’intérieur que ce soit les chambres ou les salles d’eau. Un petit bémol, l’absence de moustiquaires. Mais nous sommes dans l’ensemble heureux de notre séjour et recommandons le logement d’Alain et Michelle.

Wir - 6 Personen (4 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder) - haben dieses schöne und geräumige Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Geräte haben einwandfrei funktioniert, die Kinder hatten in dem gepflegten Pool einen Riesenspaß, Alain, der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und obwohl wir kein Französisch sprechen, konnten wir uns relativ gut verständigen. Bei unseren Ausflügen in die Region haben wir so manches Abenteuer erlebt (Kanufahrt auf der Ardeche am Pont d’Arc). Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Kosten für die Endreinigung sind weder in irgendeiner Hausbeschreibung noch im Mietvertrag erwähnt.

A fantastic place

Lovely large house with 3 bedrooms (double beds), 2 bathrooms and a large living room with a sofa bed. Everything was nice and clean on arrival. All rooms have a good size with plenty of storage space. The living room has both sofa and dining table, but it was not used as the weather during the entire stay was absolutely amazing. The house is located on a fantastic site with a remote-controlled gate. There is a really nice garden that is well looked after and there is automatic watering every night. In the garden there is also the pool which was cleaned every morning (before we woke up) by the owner who lives right next door. There is also a large lawn where the kids could play. The best detail of the house is the complete outside covered kitchen area that contains everything you need. It makes it possible to stay with the family while preparing meals. Here is a stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer and a nice built-in grill. On the covered terrace there is room for the whole family to dine together with direct views to the garden and the pool. The house surprised very positively and can certainly be recommended. The communication with the landlord has been super, Alain made sure we were welcomed nicely and was available if we had questions along the visit. There is a campsite 100 meters from the house where you can pick up freshly baked bread every morning. The campsite also has a small grocery store with the most basic things. All in all – a fantastic stay.

Alles war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Die Außenküche ist komplett ausgestattet und wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes ausschließlich und sehr gerne genutzt. Betten waren bei Anreise, auf Vorbestellung, komplett bezogen und für unseren 1/2 jährigen Enkel waren alle notwendigen Utensilien (Kinderbett, Hochstuhl, Badewanne, ...) vorhanden. Der Pool ist überschaubar war aber top gepflegt. Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und gerne empfehlen wir die Unterkunft weiter.
