We had an excellent stay. Gisele sent clear and helpful information before we arrived and Alexandra who met us at the property and showed us in was delightful. She left a pitcher of lemon water in the fridge which was welcome on the hot day of our arrival. The spacious two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of three with a teenager.The neighborhood was lovely, very nice patisserie/boulangerie next door and a really good casual simple Japanese restaurant right across the street, ate there several times! Beautiful fruit market around the corner, so many delicious apricots! It is Very close to 1 Metro for easy travel into the city. It wasn’t so clear from the listing that the apartment was in Neuilly sur Seine. it seemed that it was a little closer to the arc de triomphe within île de paris but we liked being in the neighborhood a little outside especially as it was so easy to get everywhere from the 1 train.Gisele was amazing when we had a mishap and accidentally damaged a piece of her furniture. We spoke several times and came up with a solution. She was really kind and helpful and understanding. Thank you Gisele!

We did not like the change in address to a property much further out from the address we were provided all along. We were informed of the address change about a day or two after we made our final payment. This address change caused us to have much longer uber rides and higher charges for transportation. We are not happy about this and It seems like a bait and switch in VRBO.

We had an 8 day stay and the location was fantastic, safe and very easy to the metro, bus and taxis. The apartment is spacious and we had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The housekeeper and owner communicated very well (despite us not knowing any French!!). We did experience a Paris heatwave and for Americans they definitely need to add an additional air conditioning unit with the ability to turn down the temperature colder. The host tried her best by providing an additional fan and she also tried to contact the ac company but many Parisians were on holiday. We were very warm/hot a few nights but otherwise the weather was perfect! We also had to buy some towels and ended up leaving them there. We only had one towel each for a week stay and they were all quite old/dingy. I would refresh all of the towels before the next guests. We were all in all very happy and the safety of the location along with several restaurants/bakeries near by made this place super special.

The rental was in a wonderful location close to Paris but not in Paris. The home was clean, well equipped with supplies and comfort, and the host was super friendly and helpful. Though, she was in the U.S., and her local connection wasn't within a quick drive. This was my first time to Paris, and I would stay in the rental again when I return for more fun. It was conveniently located within walking distance to markets, bakeries, restaurants, Metro, and parks. Paris was so crowded, and our rental was in an area not so populated by tourists. There is also a body of water nearby with houseboats and lots of trees and beautiful homes!

We had a very nice stay. The location was great- quiet and felt local while being only a 5 minute walk to the main metro line. It was a great home base to explore Paris. It was clean and comfortable. It was awesome having the bakery just below. When the internet stopped working, the host addressed the issue promptly and it was good and fast after that.

The apartment was very lovely and charming, secure and in a great neighborhood. The metro line and taxi stand were very close. Loved coming home to the apartment after a long day. The beds were comfortable and it was great having a washer and dryer in the unit. It was great being away from the busy tourist areas. We made it our home for the week. Our family, 2 adults and 3 teens, stayed at the property in July. The first thing to mention is that the location listed in the materials is wrong. Another reviewer mentioned this and I assumed once we paid the deposit we would get the correct address, but that was not the case, so I wasted time coming up with restaurants and evening activities near to the wrong apartment address and the locations are a 30-min walk from each other so it makes a difference at the end of a long day. I didn't receive the real address until 4 days before we were to arrive. We were well outside of the cancelation window, already in Europe, not in the frame of mind to start researching. I was livid that the owner had no concept of how misleading this was. The "wrong" address is a more vibrant are, walking distance to the Arc. The actual property is a Parisian flat - old, tiny elevator to a 3rd floor unit, small spaces but well-appointed and had nice windows that open. The weather was 60s/70s while we were there, so the one wall AC unit was fine because there were a few fans throughout to move cool air. The kitchen was tiny and we didn't use it except for the refrigerator the washer/dryer which came in handy once during our stay. There are 2 small, separate rooms which equal one bathroom-one has a toilet, the other a sink + tub/shower. The spaces worked well for us-took turns morning and night and were gone most of the day. It needs a good cleaning (dust bunnies in corners, dirty grout lines).

This listing states it is in the city center but according to cab drivers it is outside the city center and changes their billing to metered. Accessibility to all the ‘things listed’ are by subway mostly. The aquatic center is 3 subway stops away. The photos imply the Arc de Triomphe is walkable but it’s quite a distance. The washer and drier were great. There were adequate towels and cleaning things and kitchen utensils although most needed rewashing. If you want a local neighborhood, this is a great place to stay. The beds were comfortable. The local restaurants and shops were great.

We loved the neighborhood of Neuilly-Sur-Seine. Very upscale, with lovely shops and restaurants. Extremely convenient to the Metro line. The building is older, and the apartment reflected that. Quaint and traditional, but older fixtures and amenities. The two beds were fine, but the pull out mattress was thin and uncomfortable. Fine for a child, but not great for an adult. There is a mini split in the primary bedroom, but no AC in the rest of the apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay as it was just outside the more touristy areas and gave us a little taste of what living in Paris may feel like. We were able to reach all of our bucket list locations within 5-30 minutes via the metro. Many were in walking distance. The washer and dryer were so convenient and very appreciated.

All went well with this reservation. Gisele was very accommodating and we really appreciated the elevator and safety of this location. Alexandra was very helpful when we asked for mid week housekeeping. There are many area rugs that need pads under them for safety. They shift easily. The chair in the back bedroom has a cushion that overlaps the seat of the chair and this caused my sister-in-law to fall off the chair. These are fixable safety issues and we are not complaining just making suggestions. Thank you Gisele and Alexandra for providing a nice home to relax in.

This flat is described on VRBO as being in Chaillot but it is in Neuilly. If you are not familiar with Paris, those locations are not the same at all. The pictures and the descriptions of the apartment are otherwise accurate. The heating system was not predictable and the apartment has one bathroom ( the toilet is in a separate closet from the sink and tub). The apartment could use a significant amount of updating and deep cleaning.

Gisele and Alexandra were wonderful! Gisele was very informative and made our stay seamless and very enjoyable! Gisele was also very understanding when I had a mixup with my arrival date. Alexandra met us and showed us all of the amenities. The apartment was located very close to the line one metro, which takes you just about anywhere you want to go! Very convenient, lovey neighborhood, great restaurants and shops within minutes from the apartment. Gisele is a very gracious host and made our first trip to Paris a wonderful experience! The apartment was charming; high ceilings, French moldings and details, tall windows. It's older and not fancy, but comfortable. Kitchen is a bit cramped but it was workable. Beds were good, not too soft; everything was clean and orderly. It's in a great neighborhood that gave us the sense of what it's like to live in Paris, which is what we wanted. Quiet at night too. Very convenient to the Metro, many shops and conveniences nearby. Housekeeper was very helpful although doesn't speak much English so it was a little hard to communicate. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this to someone who wants an authentic Parisian experience instead of a generic hotel. Merci!

The apartment was clean and very cozy and although not centrally located as advertised but near taxi and bus stops. The linen and towels were never changed throughout our ten stay nor cleaned . There was only one of the two rooms with air conditioning but the owners did provide plenty of fans! We enjoyed our stay and Paris was beautiful! We had a comfy stay in this spacious Neuilly-sur-Seine apartment that is around the corner from the Pont de Neuilly metro station on the 1 line. The listing says that it is in the 16th (Chaillot), and the owner forgot to tell me the real situation until I was already in Paris--so be sure you get feedback after reserving!The 1 line is very central, and although you are metro-dependent to get into the city center, it is super quick, about 20 minutes to Hotel de Ville in the center. The apartment is not in an Haussmann building--it is marked 1907 on the façade--and it is not luxury, but it it is pleasant. The elevator to the 3rd (US 4th) floor can fit one person with any kind of bag, or 2 people squeezed in carrying nothing. It worked well, and is fairly speedy. We had never stayed in Neuilly before, and really appreciated the relative quiet, greater greenery, and functional neighborhood with shops and restaurants. It seemed to me that people were friendlier to me there: there are not a lot of tourists in Neuilly, which creates a social advantage. The 2 bedrooms, 1 large with a fold out couch also, are great for a family. The apartment needs updating: the kitchen appliances in particular were really old, and the dryer in the kitchen overheats (but the washer works beautifully and you really don't need the dryer). The AC unit is in the smaller of the 2 bedrooms. It helped me to sleep much more comfortably. The check in process was accommodating, and the housekeeper was available by phone and responsive. We had a very nice stay.

We had a lovely time at the apartment. Probably could have explored the neighborhood a bit more- we were at museums or other sights during the day. We did enjoy the local restaurants. All of the people were welcoming. Plus I really believe we were the only Americans in the restaurants.

The apartment was a perfect fit for our family of 5. Everyone had the space they needed to relax after long days of walking and sight-seeing. Easy, convenient metro connection. We even walked to the Arc de triumph and the Champs Elysses, then home again. Great communication with property manager. We got immediate response when needed. Safe neighborhood. Delicious patisserie just a few doors down. Grocery was just a quick walk away. I would highly recommend this apartment.

This apartment was perfect for getting around Paris. A 3-5 minute walk to the Metro. Located in the Neuilly neighborhood, you get to live like a local Parisian. The pillows need updated, but that is all. Washer and dryer were a great convenience for us as we are headed to the South of France and only had to pack for one week. We would stay here again.

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 adults. The 2 bedrooms were very large and living room area was very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped although we really only made breakfast. Also right next door was a bakery where we got fresh pastry every morning. The apartment was located about 1/2 a block from the bus stop and a block from the subway. You could get to any of the sites around Paris very conveniently from either. There were plenty of excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. I would highly recommend this property. It is a great value!

This traditional French apartment was perfect for our stay with our family of five (two adults and three teenage boys). Lots of character and charm, it is right off a Metro station that is on one of the main Metro lines just a couple of stations away from the Champ Elysee, the Louvre and other museums, and so on. It is is a neighborhood with a great bakery right on the corner and lots of cafes and shops around. The small elevator is good for getting luggage up but it is not too high up, so we took the stairs most of the time, which worked out well. Opened up the huge double windows in morning to let the fresh air in and sit near the wrought iron rail looking out at the city and getting ready to head out for the day. Also, the owner is about the most helpful owner I have ever rented from . She is really excellent and helps make sure your stay is fantastic. Thanks so much!

The Parisian apartment was very comfortable for three of us for a week stay. We found the metro very conveniently located nearby and we purchased a Navigo pass for the week to cover all metro and busses. While I appreciated being out of the tourist area in the evening, we did not return midday. We would leave and tour all day and return after dinner. It offered more individual space in the evening to relax than a hotel would offer. We also enjoyed being able to having some meat, cheese, baguettes, and tea for breakfast. Gisele was very helpful before we left and a delight to talk to on the phone. The sunset views from the apartment are beautiful!

Two of us shared this very Parisian Apartment that was better than we had expected because the pictures do not do it justice. The apartment could have easily held 4+. The location is beyond perfect; it's residential, safe, there is an abundance of restaurants, shops, grocery and fruit markets, morning coffee shop across the street with really good coffee for 2.5 Euros They also serve a variety of delicious food. There are no bars or restaurants open late around it, so its very quiet, even in the front rooms. Must be those antique mouth-blown glass windows. HUGE PLUS; the metro is so close. Its Train Line #1 which means it has Champs Elysees, Louvre/Rivoli and Chatelet, which is the HUB where all trains converge. Too Easy. I've been to Paris a few times and this is by far the best apartment and certainly the better Arrondissement that I've stayed in. Very spaceious and cozy, good location

We looked at so many apartments and were so happy with our choice. This lovely apartment is comfortable, clean, in a well maintained building, with easy access to metro and buses, centrally located in a beautiful, and safe neighborhood. We loved the location and the markets and restaurants around the area So convenient for shopping, groceries and dining. We specially enjoyed buying our fresh baguette and croissants in the pastry shop next door every morning for breakfast. The apartment has a well thought layout with the two bedrooms located on either side for better privacy and a spacious feeling throughout. Very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and has a Miele washing machine and dryer The WiFi connection is quick and the signal is strong. The owner is so helpful and easy to work with and sent a list of details for the apartment along with many suggestions for restaurants, shopping and day trips. We found the apartment to be very quiet and peaceful. Staying here made us enjoy our stay in Paris so much more and gave us the ability to slow down as if we were at home. We will highly recommend this apartment to our friends and family and we will be back.

Our family of 4 stayed at this apartment during our 10 day stay in Paris. We were greeted by a helpful housekeeper who showed around the clean apartment and shared all pertinent info such as the wifi, washer/dryer, etc. During our stay we found the apartment to be exactly as described and we were comfortable during our stay. It is conveniently located in a safe area near Metro, bus route and a taxi stand. Giselle provided a good amount of additional info about the area which we found very helpful. THANK YOU!! The only note I would make about the apartment was that there was an odd dusty odor which we suspect was coming from the renovation work being done on the outside of the building. There was construction scaffolding right outside the bedroom and kitchen windows so we knew work was being done on that area. This is not something under anyone's control and temporary I'm sure. I just mention it in case a guest has allergy sensitivities. We would highly recommend this apartment and hope to return again in the near future!!!!

Good place to stay

Good place to stay

I and my wife, along with her sister and brother-in-law stayed here for 10 days. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the wonderful Metro, and a bus stop right outside our door. The elevator is small, 2 people cozy or one with luggage. Giselle was excellent as our landlord - providing many ideas for eating, etc., in the neighborhood. We found favorite bakery, supermarket, etc. as well as restaurants. She even called during our stay to make sure everything was good.

Perfect location and very safe. Metro is 1/2 block away and so are the buses. A Butcher directly across the street and a bakery on the corner, who had time to cook? Plus good restaurants in all directions. You had everything you could want within two blocks. The apartment was charming with floor to ceiling windows and so very French. Three women and two teenagers and we were not on top of each other. The owner sent a detailed list of suggestions for shops, restaurants, including a Hospital that was very close and that I had to use. She was very helpful. There was a TV that was never turned on. I would recommend this to family and friends.

My family stayed at this location for an eight day vacation in Paris. It was exactly as described, beautiful, comfortable, and centrally located to major shopping/sights/transportation. The owner was easy to work with and provided an extensive list of suggestions and helpful hints. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation to families with child who are looking for an alternative to hotels.

My family had a lovely time in Paris Christmas week. The location of this apartment is super convenient and also away from the crowds! It is a nice, roomy apartment and we were very comfortable - 4 adults - and enjoyed living in the local style. Grocery shops, pastries, and the best chocolates and cheese shops right around the corner. The subway, buses, and taxi stand are just a few meters away, so easy to get to the main tourist attractions within minutes. Most of all, it was great to come home after being in the Christmas bustle and relax in the quiet of this neighborhood. Property was clean and the beds comfortable. Sheets and towels were changed as described in the listing. Shower has good water pressure and ample supply of hot water. Kitchen has full range-top and small oven/toaster, so easy to cook light meals. The area is very safe, and we all felt comfortable walking at all times of day and night. Elevator is handy too - European style - so fits one or two - for seniors and those who are just tired from walking all day! Owner was very generous with her recommendations of restaurants, shops, etc. and answered all our questions beforehand. I recommend visiting Lenôtre for chocolates and fabulous pastries. It is just around the corner. It was very, very busy Christmas eve with people picking up multiple boxes of chocolates!

Convenient location, nice property

This apartment is just as described and as the pictures showed. The bedrooms are good size and beds are comfortable. The apartment itself and the building were very clean & well maintained, with recyclable containers in the courtyard and trash containers in a small room off the courtyard. The Wifi was great, making looking up maps and information easy. My mother has trouble with stairs, so the elevator (lift) was a huge help. The washer & dryer were a great convenience especially on the day we got caught in a rain storm! :) There is a main line metro stop about 1 block away and it connects to multiple other lines which made traveling around the city very easy. There is also a bus stop less than 1/2 block away that we decided to use a few times when my mom was not up to walking the metro steps. The small markets around the area were nice and since we chose not to eat out much, the bigger market about 2 blocks east made shopping for daily meals very convenient. The owner was very nice, easy to work with and sent a list of details for the apartment along with many suggestions for restaurants, shopping, etc. for the area, which we much appreciated. The owner also answered any questions we had and was prompt in the replies. One minor note, the street in front of the building does get pretty busy during rush hour (about 8:30 - 9:30 am) & could get a bit noisy when we had the windows open, but with the windows closed, it was hardly noticeable. By staying in this apartment vs. a hotel, it made our trip much more affordable (not having to eat out every meal) and much more comfortable by being able to stretch out and not be confined to a small hotel room and I would definitely recommend this listing.

It is so hard to find a good place to stay in Paris if you have a family. This apartment is so wonderful, so comfortable, clean, with easy access to metro, in a beautiful, safe neighborhood, and just right for hanging around and walking to the park one day when you need to relax. This apartment really enabled us to enjoy our stay so much more fully. The owner is so helpful and lovely, and the neighborhood is very friendly, we enjoyed walking across the street for shopping, groceries, dinner. So convenient! You can even do your laundry here as the kitchen has a small washer and dryer which for us was a big help. The apartment is a great experience in itself, its a circa-1900 building with the old style apartment, a fireplace in every room. A very romantic way to experience Paris yet have the ability to slow down a bit as if you were home. We hope to return one day for another memorable visit.

A very helpful owner who provided many useful details such as nearby restaurants, shopping, etc. Very close to metro line 1 and in a very nice and friendly neighborhood. Many of the restaurants were ones you not simply stumble across but were hidden away and used by locals. We enjoyed them very much. It seemed tobe a local and affluent neighborhood away from the hordes of tourists which was very enjoyable.. The apartment was perfect for two parents with 2 girls (9 &12 y.o.) I would recommend the apartment to others but be aware there is no pool or computer as claimed and the advertised view "from the apartment of the Arc de Triomphe" does not exist. Overall we had a fantastic time.
