About this villa rental
Welcome to this beautiful and typical countryside Majorcan villa, located at the outskirts coast area of Can Picafort. It welcomes 8 people.
This lovely villa has several terraces, two of them equipped, a chlorine 6 x 4m swimming pool with a depth between 0.7m to 1.6m, an external shower, six deck chairs, a furnished porch and a barbecue.
The 160m2 house, is divided into two floors, and it has four bedrooms, two on the ground floor with a double bed each, and two at the first floor with two single beds each. There are two bathrooms, one with shower at the ground floor, and one with bath at the first floor. For the little ones of the family, you have a cot and a high chair at your service.
The salon is very cosy, it has two sofas, a little table and satellite TV. The independent kitchen-dining room, disposes of all the necessary amenities for cooking. There is a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and an iron board.
Just a 5 minutes drive takes you to Can Picafort. Can Picafort is a coast and tourist area that belongs to Santa Margalida, and there you can find a wide range of bars, restaurants, shops, etc. During the high season, the bus goes every 15 minutes towards Alcúdia village, Puerto de Pollença or other directions. There is a big supermarket at only 1km distance. Go for a walk at the seaside on the Paseo Marítimo, and sit down to have a coffee or a hand made ice cream, visit the port where you will find different types of boats. From the port, there are boats that you can see going to Formentor lighthouse or Formentor beach.
If you like sports, you can rent a bike, practice windsurf or diving. There is also a market every Friday in Can Picafort.
Visit Alcúdia old town, at only 10km distance, with its flagstones streets it deserves a visit, its squares, the church, and the walls that surround the city. There is a lot of bars and restaurants inside to stop and have a drink. Tuesdays and Sundays are market days in Alcúdia, and the village changes into a very lively and full of life place. Dont forget to visit the roman ruins, wich are very recommended.

Thank you. A very great place. Although most of us were out on a trip. It was safe and nice to spend time on the terrace outside the house in the mornigs.Eero &Family.

I’ll start with the cons first (always like a positive ending!)
Lack of a/c in the bedrooms and only two fans for four bedrooms, not enough.
Loss of a water pressure in the evenings, only for brief spells but enough to cause disruptions when showering.
For a 3 week stay, I was disappointed there was no change of bed linen or towels offered but we were able to sort it ourselves.
Pros
Very well equipped in terms of washing machine, dishwasher, bbq and kitchen equipment with lots of utensils etc.
Large open lounge area with tv and 5 terrace spaces offering a choice of sun or shade. Large kitchen with dining and seating area.
Lovely pool with 6 sun loungers in total and 3 umbrellas.
Bedrooms all spacious with lots of storage space. One full upstairs bathroom, downstairs shower room with toilet and whb and the added advantage of an outdoor shower and toilet room.
A fabulous bbq area that offered a large bbq, double sink and paella pan and stove.
The grounds were well kept and set within a working finca, lemon, limes and a large variety of Mediterranean produce grown on site. The resident chickens, ducks, sheep and the lovely dog really added to the country feel. (These are all on the periphery of the villa and kept within their own enclosures.) Overall, we had a wonderful 3 weeks, we enjoyed the solitude of the Finca whilst only being a 5 minute car journey to the lively centre with shops and restaurants.

Wir haben die Finca im Rahmen meiner Elternzeit für einen Monat bewohnt und hatten mit 2 kleinen Kindern und 4 Erwachsenen einen tollen Aufenthalt. Miguel, der die Finca und das dazugehörige Grundstück bewirtschaftet ist sehr freundlich und stand uns zusammen mit seinem Sohn bei kleineren Problemen umgehend zur Verfügung. Wir haben Miguel am Ende der Reise eine kleine Liste von Mängeln aufgegeben, die aber nicht weiter der Rede wert sind. Sofern diese noch behoben werden, so handelt es sich hierbei um eine für unsere Ansprüche perfekte Finca. Wir würden sie jederzeit nochmal buchen.
