Listed gîte, tastefully decorated, sunny, panoramic view of the countryside

There is much to say about this apartment – and all of it is good. The view faces east and is better than in the website photo. The terrace has a dining table and chairs and is sunny in the morning and in shade after mid-day. There are lounge chairs that one can put on the lawn if one wants sun in the afternoon. The privacy is excellent even though there is another apartment adjoining this one and the owners live on the first floor. Walls and landscaping are carefully placed to assure that each living space has privacy. Parking is convenient but out of sight. The owners are available, friendly and helpful but also discreet. The neighborhood is rural and has many quiet paved lanes for walking. An auberge within a 10-minute walking distance serves coffee, drinks and meals. The apartment is finished to a high standard, well maintained, clean and comfortable. Water pressure is excellent and hot water is abundant. The bathroom vanity has ample storage in drawers, shelves and surface space. There is good lighting and 2 convenient electrical outlets. A hair dryer is provided. The WC is separate. The kitchen is well equipped and has good counter space. A plancha-style grill is supplied for outdoor cooking. The bedroom is spacious and has good bedside lighting and 2 large closets with shelves, hanging rails and plenty of clothing hangers. The bed is queen size and there are blankets if needed. The windows and entrance door have retractable screens. The location is very convenient. It is less than 30 minutes from Biarritz airport, less than 10 minutes from the Autoroute and less than 5 minutes from the supermarket, tourist information, boulangerie, other shops, cafes and restaurants. We were in this apartment 4 weeks from mid-August to mid-September and we were comfortable the entire time, in any kind of weather (from very hot to chilly). We would not hesitate to return to this excellent apartment and strongly recommend it for a peaceful country holiday.

appartement très sympa, très propre, avec une vue magnifique. Propriétaires très sympathiques et très discrets. Un véhicule est cependant nécessaire pour tout déplacement dans la région.
