About this house rental

House of 80m2 near the city center of Dijon. At 300m a tram stop (line 2 Junot stop). Access at 3 stations in the city center and 5 stations at the station. Access in 10mn on foot in town. For a stay with car, free and easy parking in front of the house. Closed court with small garden and sandbox in front of the house, terrace arranged on the back. Entrance, kitchen, living room with BZ, WC, bathroom and 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6) 2 TVs and internet access wi-fi.
House located in a quiet one way street.

In front of the house, courtyard closed and flowery in summer with a small garden and a sandbox (summer).
On the back, a terrace equipped with garden furniture with 6 chairs, 2 sunbeds, a barbecue, a children's table with 2 chairs and a table for activities for water games in summer .

Lovely little house in a great location for visiting Dijon - either 3 stops on the tram which itself is a 3min walk from the house or a 20min walk. Boulangerie and grocery store a 7min walk. Considerate host who leaves helpful information for using the property. Nicely decorated and maintained. It seems like a bathroom will be added on the first floor, currently the small shower room on the ground floor is nice although a bit cramped (eg for bathing a baby). Two nice bedrooms upstairs (both with room for a cot). Very nice living area and well equipped kitchen. Parking right outside the house in the quiet street.

We loved the location and the patio. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our only problem was the 3rd bedroom was actually a sleeper sofa in the living room. My 83 yr old sister in law couldn’t do the staircase so she had to stay there-no privacy or place for her clothes, etc. Overall it was good-just a heads up on this,

Great home to explore Dijon

The property was great for us as a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children (2.5 year old and 4 months). Communication in advance and during our stay was superb with quick responses and we were greeted on arrival and guided through the welcoming and clean house. A baby bath and cot were provided with a water play and kids table outside too. A couple of fans were also provided. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking and the shaded courtyard was fantastic for relaxing drinks in the evening. We walked into Dijon (around 15 mins) as well as used the tram with the stop just at the end of the road (by a lovely bakery and supermarket) and really enjoyed having a fabulous park on the doorstep. I would recommend this home to anyone wishing to explore Dijon and beyond. Chantal is an attentive and lovely host who wishes to make your stay a pleasure!

We had a lovely week's holiday in Dijon and the house suited us very well. Excellent facilities for a small child (bath, high chair, sand pit and water play!) and very close to a nice local park. Easy walk into central Dijon for all the sights and shops. Supermarket and small shops and tram stop near by. Chantal was a lovely host and very attentive and communication was fine despite my French being very poor (she has a very good translation app). The house had everything we needed and was very quiet and restful. Thank you Chantal.

Lovely, spacious property in nice area

The property was larger than we expected, giving space for our growing kids. The area is residential and quiet, but only a short tram ride from the centre of Dijon. On hot days the house stayed cool, and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the shady courtyard garden. The kitchen is well equipped for family cooking. We enjoyed cycling on the Canal de Bourgogne and Canal de Centre, and on a disused railway track from Santenay to Nolay. We retreated to the Olympic swimming pool when it got very hot. The city is much prettier than I had remembered from a grey day 25 years ago, and there was more to see that we didn't get around to. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the facilities were thoughtfully arranged. Our teenager was comfortable sleeping on the futon - in fact, I think he rather enjoyed the proximity to the fridge! The only small frustration was the lack of a washing machine, but as we were only staying for one week, we got away with it.

We were a group of 3 couples traveling together. Overall we enjoyed our stay, finding the home comfortable and peaceful, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We especially enjoyed our evenings eating and visiting on the private terrace. The kitchen was well stocked, except for a good coffee maker. There were 2 bedrooms that were comfortable, except no fans so it was hot at night, and the French use a warm duvet rather than a top sheet and blankets (we found this throughout France). The third couple had to sleep on a firm futon in the living room that blocked the entrance into the kitchen so no privacy. The main sights are a 15 minute tram ride away, along with amenities like cafes and groceries. So a peaceful place but have to use public transportation for everything. Also, the owner charges for towels, which we were not aware of until a few days before arriving along with the owner wanting us to bring a security deposit check for 500 euros. This we could not do and the owner was okay with that. The owner only speaks French, but luckily one person in our group spoke French. Overall, a comfortable place and we enjoyed our time here. The owner was helpful but there were a few issues that renters should be aware of.

Stayed here for two nights driving back from Lake Garda, Italy to England. After such a long drive it could not have been more perfect. It had everything we needed and more. Beautiful house, clean, homely and very relaxing. Spent the whole day sat in the back terrace having a lovely lunch and some wine. Comfortable beds, wonderful shower room and well equipped kitchen. A real home away from home and we will definitely be coming back, preferably in the colder months so we can make use of the lovely wood burner in the living room. Nicely decorated and well maintained. Tram is at the end of the road and is equal distance to the old town of Dijon and the great indoor shopping mall at the end of the tram line of Dijon Valmy. Tout y était! Hôtes hyper gentils et aidants. Situé à 3 minutes d'une épicerie, 4 minutes de deux boulangeries, 3 minutes du tram pour aller au centre de Dijon en 5 minutes ou bien 20 minutes de marche, grande maison rénovée EXTREMEMENT PROPRE et très confortable. Tout pour cuisiner, voisinage et quartier TRANQUILLE et TRES SÉCURITAIRE. Seul bémol, 2 chambres à l'étage et salle-de-bain au rez-de-chausée, mais pas inconvénient pour nous. Stationnement abondant et gratuit dans la rue et sans restrictions de jour ou bien d'heure.8 minutes en voiture ou quelques stations de tram d'un immense Carrefour et centre commercial complet.Merci Chantal et Gilles, garderons d'excellents souvenirs de notre séjour d'un mois chez vous.

Très bien accueillis par les propriétaires à notre arrivée, nous avons pu dès cet instant apprécier la propreté de la maison et son charme. Les propriétaires sont disponibles sans être envahissant. La maison contient tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin, le tram est à cinq minutes, il y a des commerces de proximité également à cinq minutes. Tout était parfait! Merci à Chantal et son époux.

Ik verbleef samen met mijn bejaarde moeder 3 nachten in deze woning. De woning is comfortabel, rustig gelegen en we konden onze auto voor de deur parkeren. Er zijn winkels dichtbij en we konden zo naar het centrum wandelen (of in de tram stappen). De host is zeer gastvrij en is beschikbaar voor allerlei vragen en informatie over de woning en de stad. De ontvangst was geweldig en haar enthousiasme aanstekelijk.
