About this cottage rental

Cottage in the countryside, in the outbuildings of an old farmhouse, whose decoration blends tastefully rustic accents and contemporary. Exceptional location in a valley on the edge of our wonderful land of hills and bird sanctuary Frasnes. It is a haven of peace can accommodate riders with their horses. Initially the house many opportunities to go for walks on foot, horseback or bicycle. The Jauchelle is located near Tournai and Lille. Brussels, Bruges and 45 minutes.

The house is cosy and spacious and offers plenty of opportunities for both an active and a quiet holiday. This is a terrific property that combines the charm of a tastefully decorated home with all modern amenities. Everything in the house works and works well, the beds and pillows are comfortable, the kitchen really is fully equipped (there's even a nespresso coffee machine!), everything in the house is of good quality. But most importantly the hostess Barbara is extremely helpful and highly responsive. What a perfect location for us to have so many great day trips -Tournai -Lille-Brussels - Brugges - the list goes on! Hope to get back to this area soon. Thanks for helping make such great memories!! Being able to spend our days in easy distance to our location and then to have such a great place to come back to each evening helped keep our vacation relaxing!! The surroundings are ideal for walking, biking and long boarding. Facilities for shopping etc. are not far away. The owners were very kind and obliging, during our stay as well as afterwards, and clearly appreciate having guests who care for their rural and distinctive property. We truly had an outstanding stay and look forward to returning again. Thanks Barbara!

The major problem is finding this property. Once you get to Beclerc, you'll need a very good GPS in your car. And you certainly need a car; this place is in the boondocks of Belgium. However, the family who own the place are accommodating and friendly and they'll make sure you know where the nearest grocery store and service station are, and eventually, you can start to feel at home in the area. It's idea for visiting war graves and monuments, Vimy, Beaumont-Hamel, Menin Gate in Ieper, and Dieppe, Juno and Dunkirk and make sure to save a day-trip for the beautiful city of Brugge. The property is comfortable, well equipped and pleasant, and well worth the price. You'll enjoy it - once you find it.
