About this country house rental
Le Clos d'Orbieu welcomes you in an 8 hectare vineyard, in a protected area bordered by the river.
Located in Villedaigne in the Corbières, the Clos d'Orbieu is 5 minutes from Narbonne, 30 minutes from Carcassonne, 20 minutes from the sea, 20 minutes from Gruissan and 1 hour from the Pyrenees.
You will just have to leave the Estate to find all the amenities: bakery, newsagent / tobacco shop, locavor grocer, fruit and vegetables, post office, etc.
A place nestled in the heart of the Audois heritage, Cathar castles, Roman remains, the Canal du Midi, wine region (AOC Corbières, AOC La Clape, AOC Minervois La Livinière ...), sea and mountains.

For family and friends who look for a beautiful home with perfect pool and outdoor living set-up in the South of France… away from the summer crowd but close to everything to see and to do in “le pays Cathare”.
The hosts Marie and Michel were simply amazing! Kind, hospitable and always ready to help. The vegetable tarte et la tarte tatin awaiting our family upon arrival was such a lovely touch. It definitely set the tone for our week.
Space, style, huge outdoor living set up and great large salt water pool… air conditioning in all the bedrooms!
We had so much fun playing at the pétanque. Practical location in terms of food shopping with Lezignan offering local products and big names supermarkets shopping, only 15 minutes easy drive away. We recommend the Saveurs Marines seafood and fish shop bin Lezignan, for fresh seafood, fish and great catering including their paella! And so many catharsis history and Corbieres trails to check out all alround. The beaches around Narbonne and Gruissan ~30 minutes drive away. So perfect “Le Sud” experience without the crowd. We simply loved it.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, l'environnement est magnifique, la maison extrêmement agréable et l’accueil des propriétaires de la maison très chaleureux. On reviendra !

La maison et la piscine sont formidables. Une belle piscine avec une immense terrasse au soleil. Un coin barbecue avec une grande table ou nous avons pris tous nos repas.
Une grande pièce de vie, une belle cuisine assez bien équipée (il manque un ou deux ustensiles pour un amateur de bon petit plat).
De très belles chambres avec chacune une salle de bain/douche et un grand dressing. Deux chambres ont des salles de douche refaites très fonctionnelle.
Très important, il y a le Wifi avec un bon débit. Primordial quand on voyage avec des ados…
La maison est un peu isolée vis-à-vis des commerces, mais c’est le point de départ idéal pour visiter la région.

The property is lovely, the owners were warm, friendly and helpful. Great pool to swim in or to relax around. The house is spacious and comfortable with everything you might need. We loved it all.
