Very nice house in a quiet surrounding. Perfect pool with plenty of room for a large family. We went on holiday with 6 people (2 adults & 4 kids) so pool was good. Also a big plus is that bed linnen and towels is taken care of by owner and clean. House is 5 minutes away from local village with bakery. A big supermarket 20 minuten away, this is good and normal when booking a house like this. A couple of pointers to improve are; Fire place in the house had left overs in from previous renters, resulted in a burning smell. Sun imbrellas were an easy target for the wind to tip over due to too less weight on the foot, we contacted the owner and it was handled. Unfortunately some damages to the umbrellas due to that. A big improvement would be a garden canopy fixed to the house, this to create shade during hot days and perfect to sit under in the evening. It can get very hot in the summertime. The drying rack for the laundry was broken and we fixed it for the time being. Overal a good house to have your relaxing summer holiday!

A wonderful place to stay!! We chose this location to explore the Chaine Des Puys and it was perfect for that if you don’t mind driving a bit to get there. Most walks we chose were around 45 mins- 1.15hr Drive away which is a bit timely but worked for us as we left early morning and returned in the afternoon leaving enough time for lounging around the pool. The pool was warm and clean and the best one we’ve ever had at a holiday home. Lovely little walk to the local chateau which is worth doing and also local bakery in Saint dier du Auvergne which was open on a Sunday which surprised us! Closed on a Monday though.... Plenty of interest inside the property with a very eclectic mix of personal possessions with good amount of toys and books for children to play with. Lovely rooms, well equipped kitchen. Yolande welcomes you to the property and although her English is limited and my French terrible we managed to get all communication across!! Definitely worth staying here for a really relaxing break away. We’re all missing it now we’re back in the UK!! If we were ever looking to return to the area we would definitely stay here again.
