Summer has a smell of sea spray and a scent of freedom at Dunes & Canopée.
Dunes & Canopée is a house where you can simply slow down: a bright and natural atmosphere, an aromatic air with scents mixed with pine and iodine, a privileged location in the heart of the pine forest and golf courses, a residence designed for families with its large heated swimming pool, relaxation or play areas for all ages, on-site services that avoid having to travel. Everything invites you to slow down, to enjoy, to live.
Over the years, we have shaped this house like a real cocoon: neat decoration, warm spaces, complete equipment (3-star furnished tourist classification).
The bright and friendly living room extends the feeling of light from the sun-drenched terrace from morning to evening. The open kitchen is perfectly furnished for those who like to cook convivially after a day at the beach.
With its three bedrooms, this house comfortably accommodates up to six people. The two bathrooms, in natural and soft tones, offer a real moment of relaxation after days punctuated by the sea, the sun or walks.
The residence is designed for families with children of all ages. You can enjoy a large heated swimming pool on site, bordered by areas where you like to linger, as well as a wading pool ideal for the little ones (open from May to mid-September, subject to adjustments). The multi-sports fields (volleyball, football, basketball) and the petanque court invite you to extend the days actively.
The residence also offers real peace of mind: everything is within easy reach, which allows you to fully enjoy the sweetness of life without the need to move. Bike rental, light meals on the pool terrace, breads and pastries, food trucks depending on the season, laundry... everything is designed so that the days go by simply, between a dip, an improvised aperitif or a moment of relaxation of an impertinent insouciance.
And for those who wish to explore the surroundings, our partners offer activities in the region at a preferential rate: the opportunity to discover the coast gently, at the pace of your desires.
Lacanau-Océan is a seaside resort renowned for its beautiful beaches and the many activities that can be practiced there, such as surfing, bodyboarding, kite surfing, sailing, bike rides, golf, balneotherapy, etc... The summer is punctuated by many events, in particular the Sooruz Lacanau Pro, the Lacanau Gliss'festival, on July 14th...
Many activities are accessible in 5 minutes on foot, such as tree climbing, golf, tennis, squash, horse riding or thalassotherapy. A renowned Spa and the Casino de Lacanau are also accessible in just 5 minutes. You can reach the ocean and the shops in 10 minutes by bike. Lacanau-Océan also offers a market of local products in all seasons.
The beaches of Moutchic or Longarisse, on Lake Lacanau, are 5 minutes away by car, and offer calm waters, ideal for swimming for toddlers and various water sports.
The region also offers many amusement parks, such as the Teich ornithological park, water parks and leisure parks for all tastes. On the first floor, you have an entrance hall with cupboard, a shower room with WC, a living room with fully equipped American kitchen (nespresso, dishwasher, 4 hobs, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, combined microwave oven, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, blender, kitchen utensils and crockery in large numbers, electric plancha/grill), opening onto a private south-facing terrace with garden furniture and parasol facing the pool, but protected from prying eyes.
Upstairs, you have a master bedroom with a double bed and storage space, opening onto a balcony with a beautiful view of the pool and the residence, a children's bedroom with two single beds and a closet, a cabin bedroom with two bunk beds and storage drawers, a bathroom with bathtub and towel radiator

The house has everything you need, including an outdoor grill. Nice to be able to cook outside in the evening sun! The location is great, very close to the incredible pool. The beach is a 10min bikeride away, via excellent and very safe bicycle lanes.
The resort could use a little extra maintenance but overall very positive and would definitely stay again.

Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, sehr sauber, alles funktionstüchtig und perfekt ausgestattet. Die Ferienanlage ist sehr schön, viele Bäume, der Pool ist in der Nähe. Die Abwicklung hat reibungslos funktioniert. Die Begrüßung und Verabschiedung waren sehr freundlich. Es war insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
