About this apartment rental

cottage having kept its charm of yesteryear, 1 green bedroom (sleeps 3), 1 bedroom upstairs (sleeps 2), 1 living room (sleeps 2) with TV, 1 kitchen with oven, micro, dishwasher, bathroom bathroom (2 sinks, 1 shower and washing machine), central heating, garden table and chairs, barbecue. A nice mountainous location on the border of Switzerland

We wanted a place away from the urban area and this farm house didn’t disappointed us. It is a lovely house made of beautiful and expensive wood. We had to go through very adventurous mountain roads which we loved. Good facilities to have for a self catering location. Don’t expect a big market within few miles in the area. The owner Mr Burger who also lives next door has a very friendly and good personality.

We stayed 4 nights in the old farmhouse with our 1 year old baby. We were warmly welcomed by Michel. The house is well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The farmhouse was clean but is not fancy, but it was just what we were looking for. It is very good value for money and nothing was too much trouble for Michel, who even did our laundry for us. The village doesn't have any shops, but there are plenty to choose from in the town about 10 mins drive away. La Chenalotte is a great location for discovering the area..Ornans/Lods, Pontarlier, Switzerland, Cirque du Consellation and more.

La Bergerie offre un hébergement idéal pour les familles dans un petit coin de paradis loin du traffic mais bien placée pour visiter les nombreuses attractions de la région. L’accueil du propriétaire discret et bienveillant est chaleureux et le logement est bien équipé et confortable.

Le propriétaire a pris contact avec moi très rapidement après ma réservation. Il m'a joint toutes les coordonnées pour arriver facilement jusqu'au gîte. J'ai été très agréablement surprise par tous les équipements ainsi que le linge de lit et de bain ainsi que les torchons à vaisselle mis à notre disposition. Pour se reposer c'est parfait et en plus avec nos 2 chiens! Le propriétaire était à l'écoute et fort agréable, merci à lui. Gîte à recommander sans problème. Peut-être le seul petit hic, la commune devrait peut-être prêter un peu plus d'attention à la signalétique pour randonner.....

Gîte authentique de par l'atmosphère des lieux. Cette ancienne bergerie restaurée avec goût par M. BERGER ne manque pas de confort et de par son emplacement, au pied des sentiers de randonnée, permet de découvrir cette région magnifique qu'est le Haut Doubs, sans oublier la saveur des produits locaux. Mentionnons la gentillesse de M. BERGER, très attentionné au confort de ses voyageurs. En résumé, nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans ce gîte atypique.

Bonjour, Nous avons été bien accueillis et renseignés par Monsieur Berger. Le gîte est confortable et bien équipé. L'ambiance est chaleureuse et l'endroit calme. La localisation du gîte est appréciable (Morteau est proche, la Suisse aussi) pour de nombreuses activités nature et culture. On recommande ! Encore merci Monsieur Berger. Die Ferienwohnung bietet viel Platz und auf dem Rasen/Gärtchen vor dem Haus eine schöne Sitzgelegenheit. Die Ausstattung ist umfangreich und insgesamt recht einfach. Man muss bei dem Angebot für bis zu 5 Personen den günstigen Preis berücksichtigen, wer etwas mehr Komfort und Modernität sucht, sollte sicherlich weitersuchen. Auf dem Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer haben wir dank Kühle und guter Matratze sehr gut geschlafen, obwohl wir uns mit den französischen 1,40er Do-Betten grundsätzlich schwertun. Die Wohnung ist sehr kühl, was in heißen Sommern Gold Wert sein dürfte. Ansonsten stehen Heizung und in der Küche ein Ofen zur Verfügung (haben wir nicht genutzt). An den wärmeren Tagen gab es sehr viele Fliegen, Insektengitter an ein paar Fenstern wären wünschenswert. Le Chenalotte selbst ist kein hübsches Dorf, aber ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für fantastische Fahrradtouren auf der umliegenden hügeligen Hochebene und hinab in die angrenzenden Täler. Recht steil wird's dabei hier und da, also etwas für sportliche Fahrer oder E-Bikes, dann aber auch ein wirklicher Genuss! Mit dem Auto tolle Ausflüge auf Le Chasseron und Chasseral im Schweizer Jura möglich.
