Villa in an enclosed 3608 sq ft garden planted with trees

Excellent ! We felt at home at once. Comfortable bed, well equipped. Big beautiful garden, fenced in which is perfect if you travel with a dog or small children.3 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants.The owner is easy to communicate with and the hostess is very friendly and servideminded

The house is less than a 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach. Other than water from the shower in the hallway bathroom running into the hallway with every use, this place is great. The house is spacious, great pool, and backyard!! We enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay there on future visits!!

We had a very nice stay in the house with a group of 11 friends to go climbing and hiking. After a active day it was good to have a swim in the sea. There are a lot of beds, but the house is better equipped for a group with small children in my opinion. The garden is really beautiful and spacious.

I stayed in July 2019, our group was 8 family members. Pros - The location was great, footsteps from the beach and a short 25min walk into the centre of La Ciotat - The pool and garden were beautiful and we made extensive use of both - Right around the corner form a little bakery - Parking was useful and the street get very busy Cons - The house was too hot in the middle of summer. There is no aircon and we were only provided with a couple of fans. We found it hard to sleep. - The basement bedroom was damp and mouldy, I don't believe they should advertise this as a bedroom, it is not suitable to sleep in. - Take your own towels, although 'linen' was included we only got 1 old towel per person Overall it was a beautiful house but we would not no go back at that time of year.

The villa is located around 200m away from La Ciotats Grand Plage. A big choice of Restaurants and beach stores are in 5 minutes walking distance. The old town with more stores, local markets and dozens more of restaurants is roughly a 20 minutes walk. A very good bakery for your morning baguette is also only a 2 minutes walk. We enjoyed very much our early morning coffee at the beach. Although the beach life in La Ciotat can get pretty lively and noisy in high season the villa has a big terrace and a protected and beautiful pine and palm garden with a decent and very well maintained pool. This allows you to find a calm place also when the beaches are crowded in the afternoon. The villa itself exceeded our expectations. The cut of rooms allowed us to find enough space for all members of our big family. The interior was friendly and well maintained, a pool boy came up to 4 times a week if required to keep the water in an ideal quality. Overall the landlord did really everything to justify the high class positioning of the location. The communication was very friendly and responsive at all times. A special highlight was Marie, our local contact in La Ciotat . She is a wonderful and charming French lady, who gave us valuable advices for place to go and not to go. But she also took the time to cook authentic Provences cuisine, when we wanted to. This gave us the opportunity to enjoy really home made local cuisine and saved us time for cooking or restaurant visits. This made the stay there to a really unforgettable experience, with wonderful memories for us and our kids. Our big thanks to the landlords and esp. Marie!
