A lovely, modern and well maintained apartment. Everything was spotless including the swimming pool. The family owners couldnt have been more helpful with any questions about the accommodation or island itself. Theres a very handy family beach area (with a small bar for drinks throughout the day) no more than 100M away and the nature reserve (half of the island!) in the opposite direction.Theres a small supermarket and bread kiosk close by for the daily essentials. All of the other shops, restaurants and bars are in the main town only 3 - 4km way but it was simple enough to book a local taxi.Virtually everyone spoke English as the common language if required. Vir is a quiet relaxing and safe island.
