About this house rental

Stylish and modern living at 1,700 meters above 4 floors in the award-winning architect house "Schönes Wohnen" 1984.
Accommodation for summer and winter.
The kitchen was completely renewed in 2019 and brought up to the state of the art including all electronic devices.
All permanently installed lamps in the house were LED or Energy saving lamps changed.
Parking is also possible for cars with a roof box below the house.

It is nice designed , cosy Hause with beautiful Views all around , it was clean, but we are not happy with strange smell inside.. maybe before us there were guests, who smoked inside Hause.

It is almost impossible to find a better location in the Dolomites than this property. You are walking distance to the Dolomites and Lago di Carezza. The many balconies and windows provide you with views in most parts of the home. The apartment is best for small groups of 6 or less. One of the two bedrooms was converted to become 2 smaller bedrooms with 2 bunk beds in each. There are 1.5 bathrooms, not two full bathrooms, in contrast to what is listed. Although the directions to the home are only in German, you can easily translate those directions into the language of your choice. We were charged 15 Euro per person to use bath towels and bed linens, which we found odd - it's like getting charged to use for a key to enter the the home - you would expect that bath towels are not "extras". Overall, this mountain home is perfectly located with beautiful views, which is best for small groups. You'll enoy your stay here.

It's the second time we stay and the house is always great. The kitchen has been renovated since we last stayed and it's great, there's everything you may need to cook. The location is very convenient for skiing and the views are amazing. The only minor hassle is having to bring all bedding and towels.

This is a truly stunning home with so much more space than we expected! The view from every window and every balcony is beautiful. Very comfortable stay in a perfect location. Lots of nice touches like a small hamper with treats and essentials on arrival, plenty of games available and every kitchen utensil / gadget you could possibly need (we made very good use of the TWO fondue sets). Communication with Christian was excellent throughout. There is a requirement for cash to be left on departure to settle the linens laundry and energy fee, but all of this is made very clear upon booking. Thank you Christian for welcoming us into your beautiful home.

Our family of four had a fantastic time in Karersee. This house surpassed our expectations, the architecture is incredible. There is a different view from every balcony and window, of which there are many. The kitchen has every gadget you could dream of and the main sitting areas are very comfortable and everything was clean. It feels like no expense has been spared. However the fact that linen and towels are not included was a disappointment for us. We had flown from the UK and our stay at this house was the last week of a month long adventure..we couldn’t bring our own linen. We therefore chose our only option to pay €15 per person for linens and towels and rent from the caretaker. Unfortunately these were cheap feeling which rather dampened our enjoyment of the house when we got into bed. The only other downside is that the electricity, oil and cleaner are payable in addition to the rental price. For such a beautiful house it might be a better idea to provide better linens and include the “extras” in the cost, even if it costs a bit more. We do this with our own holiday rental in Canada and guests seem to prefer it. Can’t fault the property in any way however, if you rent this house you will feel like you are enjoying all the mountain views when you are inside! We couldn’t get wifi but could use our mobile phone networks very well. Our teenager was upset, we were delighted!

Ein fantastisches Haus, super ausgestattet und in der Tat genau an der richtigen Stelle erbaut, mit herrlichen Ausblicken von den zahlreichen Terrassen auf Latemar und Rosengarten. Wir haben uns hier ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Ein WLAN könnte man allerdings bei dem Preis schon mal einrichten. Auf meinen diversen Devices hat nämlich die Verbindung über Suedtirolspot am Touristencenter trotz einiger Mühe nicht geklappt.

In einer tollen Lage bietet das Haus alles, was man in einem Urlaub braucht . Sehr guter Zustand , umfangreiche Ausstattung . Das einzige Manko war der Duschvorhang im Badezimmer , aber ansonsten war alles tipptopp . Wir haben es sehr genossen

Schon zum 2. Mal waren wir in diesem einmaligen Haus. Wie beim letzten Mal funktionierte die Übergabe reibungslos, wir kannten uns nun ja auch schon aus…;-) Bin immer wieder über die schöne Küche und die für ein Ferienhaus einmalige Ausstattung dankbar, da kocht man gern. Bei unserem etwas durchwachsenen Wetter tat der Kamin einen guten Dienst und bescherte uns gemütliche Abende. Die Schlafzimmer sind eben nur zum Schlafen da und man bewegt sich gern in das obere lichtdurchflutete Stockwerk. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, die Gegend traumhaft und noch nicht vollends erkundet!

This is a beautifully situated property with a fantastic view on the mountains. Excellent for starting hiking and climbing tours. Cosy, well equipped. Bedrooms are small, but not the beds, so its fine, except for those who require lots of space for sleeping. We really enjoyed our stay and certainly will come back for another vacations.

La casa è in posizione fantastica, di fronte alla maestosità del Catinaccio. Ottima la cucina ( attrezzatissima) e il soggiorno, zona letto non ottimale, piccola e scomoda soprattutto la camera matrimoniale. Pulizia scarsa, la moquette a mio avviso non è più accettabile, dovrebbe essere rimossa. Nel complesso la consiglio con 3 stelle su 5

Die Schlafräume sind sehr klein. Ins Doppelbett muss man rein krabbeln. Die Etagenbetten haben umständliche Leiter zum hoch kommen. Küche komplett komplett gut ausgestattet!! Induktionsherd ist toll. Interessante Architektur. 270 Grad Bergblick, riesen Garten. Die Nebenkosten (Öl, 74l, und Strom) sind sehr hoch. Für 7 Tage haben wir über einhundert € nachzahlen müssen.

Really nice location with spectacular view on Dolomiti from the wide garden. Kitchen fully furnished and nice dining area. Bedrooms are not comfortable: too narrow, dusty, especially the double room. Carpet (moquette) a bit too smelly to our standard.

Der Blick auf die Dolomiten - und sogar bei guter Sicht auf die Alpen - ist unglaublich schön. Das Haus mit seiner besonderen Architektur und den vielen Fenstern ermöglicht auch von innen viel Ausblick. Den "Schöner-Wohnen"-Preis, hat das Objekt in den 80er Jahren absolut berechtigt erhalten. Unserer Ansicht nach sollte man aber das Interieur einmal umfassend modernisieren. Dann könnte man auch heute noch gewinnen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und alles war sehr sauber.

Das Haus liegt in einmaliger Lage mit Blick auf den Rosengarten und Latemar und hat viel Charme und Stil. Die einzigartige Lage ermöglicht viele tolle Wanderungen. Allerdings sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass zumindest 2 der Schlafzimmer eher Kojen mit kleinen Stockbetten sind (das dritte Schlafzimmer ist auch sehr beengt). Auch die Tatsache, dass nur eine Toilette vorhanden ist, könnte das Zusammenleben erschweren ;.). Leider war das Haus bei der Ankunft nicht in einem wirklich sauberen Zustand (was die 50 Euro Endreinigung nicht so wirklich rechtfertigt). Die Kommunikation mit dem freundlichen Vermieter war unproblematisch, allerdings hätten wir uns eine etwas besser Betreuung von dem Verwalter vor Ort gewünscht, den wir nicht zu Gesicht bekamen und der auf unsere Anfragen auch nicht reagierte.

Staubsauger sollte nicht im überfüllten Zustand im Hause stehen, sondern leer, wir wollen ihn ja benutzen. Kopfkissen sind in einem sehr gebrauchten Zustand, neue wären nicht schlecht.

Herrliche Aussicht mit hautnaher Berg- und Geräuschkulisse. Vieles ist direkt vom Haus aus zu erlaufen, wir haben alle Ziele um die Siedlung herum in den 2 Wochen umwandert und jeden Tag genossen.
