About this house rental
Perfect for beach vacations, these two vacation properties (FBF463 and FBF412) welcome their guests on a restored farm, just 1 km from one of Brittany's most picturesque little fishing villages. Beams adorn the ceilings, and there's plenty of space inside and out. A large, communal garden area with lawn awaits children at play, as well as orchards, swings, and a ping-pong table. Enjoy views of the rural surroundings. Footpaths will take you to the coast, for example to the port of Doëlan, where you can get freshly caught fish and seafood and watch yachts and fishing boats, or to the rocks and many sheltered small sandy bays. Larger sandy beaches await you a short distance away at Le Pouldu and Kerfany. Stroll through the local markets, which offer plenty of fresh produce, including fish and oysters for an indulgent dinner. Well-marked trails for mountain biking, horseback riding or hiking, along rivers and the coast, through the ancient forest of Clohars and up to the ruined monastery of Saint-Maurice. Discover many beautiful churches as well as prehistoric menhirs or take up an adventurous challenge: sailing, windsurfing or jet skiing.

The area the house is in is really lovely, Doelan the small port was a short walk away with bars and restaurants on the waterfront. We had a great time exploring the many rocky coves. Our host spoke English very well and was very welcoming.
