About this apartment rental
Since the middle of the 17th At the end of the 19th century, the ancient olive mill, to which the inhabitants of Borgo Muratori brought their olives of exceptionally good quality taggiasche, was pressed.
The old oil mill was the residence of a Russian-Belgian couple for 20 years, until it was acquired in 1977 by the German painter Klaus Bendixen, who established his studio there. Today the upper floor of the house is inhabited by the current owner. The lower floor is at guests' disposal, who enjoy the rest in the middle of nature.
The house has been completely restored, the original character preserved as far as possible.
The lower floor has a size of about 90 m².
On the floor of Klaus's former old-fashioned, there are still traces of paint which remain as memories. Some of his pictures adorn the walls.
Ideally, there is room for two people (also with children). There is the following Schlafmöglichk: a double bed (160 x 200), a sofa bed (140 x 190 cm) and a sofa bed (80 x 205 cm).
The kitchen is well equipped and ideal for self catering. The kitchenette has an induction cooker.
In the bathroom there is a shower, as well as an outdoor shower in the open-air garden, ideal for the summer.
In the garden are table, seating, parasol and two sun loungers available.
Borgo Muratori is located in the hinterland of Diano Marina, on the Riviera ligure di ponente, between Alassio and Sanremo.
The distance to the beach and the sea is 5 minutes by car. There is a large public car park in the village. Leave your vehicle at the height of the ancient chapel of San Biagio from where an old donkey trail leads you to Casa Klaus after 150 meters.

We - a family with a teenage girl - enjoyed Cristina’s house a lot. Peaceful location in the hills, surrounded by olives and nature, great view over the sea and a wonderful garden (the outdoor shower!) thank you also to Sara and her great recommendations!

We enjoyed our stay in Casa Klaus very much. The quite place in a small village between the green hills is located near to the sea and near to beautiful small towns full of ancient places of interest. It is the perfekt place to recreate the body, soul and mind. Very recommended!

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in liebevoll restaurierter alter Olivenölmühle. Etwas abseits des Touristenrummels im Ort. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr aufmerksame und kinderliebe Vermieterin. Besonderen Spaß hatten wir jeden Morgen unter der Außendusche mit Meerblick. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit Garten.

We have spent two wonderful weeks in Casa Klaus. Cristina welcomed us warmly and helped us bring the luggage to the apartment. She is very hospitable and helpful. Casa Klaus is a wonderful apartment in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the sea and the olive trees. The traces of previous residents are still visible and carefully included in the interior of the apartment. It’s a great holiday location if you like peace. If you want to enjoy the Italian holiday and beach life, there are plenty of options in the area with its nice villages along the coast.
