About this cottage rental
The self-catering cottage constructed of local Cornish stone has two bedrooms, one with king size bed, the other with two single beds. The cottage is located within a rural setting with valley views across towards Bodmin , St Austell, The Moors.
The cottage has a lounge/diner with patio doors leading to an extensive garden, a fully fitted kitchen, (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle ,coffee percolater , iron ,ironing board) and a fully fitted walk in shower . The cottage also has storage facilities, TV (included within bedrooms and living room),Full fibre fast wifi included, extensive car parking and full central heating. Bedding and Linen are also provided.
Please note: The wood burning stove is NO LONGER functional, so simply for cosmetic purposes.

Lansallos beach is approximately 0.75 miles away accessed by a footpath from the village of Lansallos. The fishing villages of Polperro (2 miles) and Looe (7 miles) are nearby while the popular town of Fowey is just four miles away across the Bodinnick Ferry and all easily accessible by car . The cottage is an excellent base to explore southern Cornwall and beyond by road and rail - with mainline railway stations at Liskeard (10 miles) and Lostwithiel (5 miles) being nearby.The rental week is from Saturday to Saturday arrivals from 4pm and departures are by 10.00am.

We where met By Mathew on arrival he is a very friendly person and we had a nice chat ,he showed us around the place and we where very impressed with the place it looked clean and inviting. loved the layout with the ground floor bedroom and shower room . We also liked the upstairs bedroom ,it has everything you need for your stay. The whole place had a lovely vibe about it, the views where also great and the sunsets where brilliant. Loved it there and would not hesitate to go back. Matt was a great host we had many chats and laughs at his funny stories, also met the lovely dogs also his parents. We enjoyed our stay tremendously it was a great area to explore the local Towns and villages like Polperro and Looe and the Boddinick ferry to Fowey just up the road. Highly recommended and Thank you to Mathew and family for an enjoyable stay at Higher Polgassic Cottage. Tony&Karen and Mam.

The house was very clean, comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed for a successful holiday. The location was ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday with lots of interesting seaside and inland villages to visit. The cottage was ideal for us as a retired couple and had a beautiful large garden with barbecue which also would be ideal for a family. Matthew, the host, was very helpful and we were sure he would be available if needed but we found the cottage was perfect!

Location very quiet and rural. The roads are narrow to access the property, but there are plenty of passing places, we had no issues driving in and out.Spacious lounge and bedroom.Compact kitchen, a little dated. Shower/Toilet small.It was ideal for us exploring the coast path from Polruan to Rame head

This is a lovely cottage for couples or small families. Matthew made us very welcome and was a friendly and informative host. Cottage was warm with central heating and excellent hot water. Views are wonderful and apart from the occasional tractor the area is quiet and beautiful.
