BERGEN AAN ZEE: beautiful, large holiday home near the beach! Only 2 min. walk

Perfect spot, perfect house

We three couples enjoyed a great week at this house. The kitchen was well equipped for our home-cooked meals, there was an ample supply of plates, bowls, and glasses, and we made good use of the large dining table. The living area was comfortable, large and sunny, and there were multiple areas outside the house for outside dining and reclining. The bedrooms were comfortably furnished (with mattresses of different hardness). In at least one bedroom, it was difficult to sufficiently block out the morning light. Despite its location near the road into the village, the house was relatively quiet. We were woken in the mornings by the loud calls of the sea gulls, who also targeted our cars, but this was a reminder of how close we were to the ocean. The location was great. It was only a 2 minute walk to the ocean, with its long sandy beaches, and a short walk to the fantastic seaside dune area. Bergen aan Zee is a relatively quiet location. Although it lacks a grocery store, there were several restaurants. We enjoyed the Aquarium there, and can highly recommend the local bike rental business, where we could rent excellent quality e-bikes without any fuss. This area of Holland has a lot to offer. In addition to the wonderful bike and walking paths, Alkmaar is close, and Amsterdam can be reached in an hour. The communication with the owner was excellent, and check-in and check-out very easy. We would gladly recommend this house to families or groups of couples.

Lovely spacious accommodation with pretty outdoor seating. Wonderful sandy beach nearby and sandy heath for walks. Plenty of bikes, windmills and cheese; dutch attractions much appreciated!

War eine schöne Zeit, das Haus war schön, leider recht viel Deko in Klein-Kinder-Greif-Höhe…. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst. Probleme mit dem Objekt wurden Tagesaktuell von der Agentur gelöst und es gab noch eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit für die Umstände bei Abreise. Also Service TOP ! (Von Defekten Geräten kann sich niemand frei sprechen, irgendwann geht halt mal was kaputt)
