About this house rental
Cozy house 100 m from the large lake Åsnen, nestled between large cliffs in beautiful nature. Living room with open fireplace. SZ2 is passage room, SZ3 with curtain. 2 beautiful terraces, one of them covered. View of the lake from balcony and living room. At Torne Camping you can rent boats and canoes 1.5 km away. The campsite and in Torne Lanthandel you can buy fishing licenses. In the lake you can fish well for pike, zander and carp. In Växjö nearby you can do shopping. There are good cycling trails by the house. The hiking trail Banvallsleden passes by Torne, it leads to Hulevik and further to Åshult and Karlshamn. Sirkön is also worth a trip, there you can expect a fish smokehouse and many varieties of apples. In Kurrebot is celebrated Midsummer, you can dance in the Kärrasand. Urshult has a good lunch restaurant, Ladan. In Tingsryd we recommend the Mårdslycke Krog. The area around lake Åsnen is planned as a national park. In 2018, it will first include the Bjurkärr nature reserve, the Toftåsa bog and the islands of Västra Åsnen, as well as the legendary Trollberget. Old Swedish beech forest grows here. Huseby near Grimslöv has a beautiful castle and castle park.

Summary of reviewsThe small house for up to 4 people is nicely located between fields and forests, 200m from Asnen lake with a rowboat available. Functional interior but lacks bedding and dishware. Better cleanliness and amenities would be worth the extra cost.

Kleines Haus für max. 4 Personen in schöner Lage zwischen Feldern und Wäldern. Ca. 200m vom Asnen entfernt, dort liegt auch das Ruderboot. Leider war es nicht möglich seitens des Vermieters bzw. Vermittlers einen Motor zu organisieren. Im Oktober war Ca. 50km/h Wind... das Ruderboot war aufgrund von Wind und Welle. Nicht zu nutzen. Bis Einschließlich September kann man Motorboote am Campingplatz in Thorne mieten, im Oktober mussten wir Ca. 15km fahren und im Camping Mjöllnknabben ein Boot mieten. Also unbedingt Motor mitbringen!
Das Häuschen ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es gibt keine Bettwäsche und auch keine Spülutensilien! Bei der Reinigung verlässt man sich scheinbar auf die Endreinigung der Mieter. Sauber ist anders!!! Hatten 220,-€ für 1 Woche gezahlt. Von daher ok! Hätten lieber 50,-€ mehr investiert und eine wirklich saubere Hüttw vorgefunden inkl. Bettwäsche und Spülzeug.
