Holiday house for 6 people. Cozy and modern. Nice, private location, sun all day in the garden.

A 17-minute walk from the beach and 15 minutes walk from the center of Oostkapelle. Domburg is less than 15 minutes of cycling.

The house is modern and comfortably furnished. There are 3 bedrooms with a total of 6 beds. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, microwave and dishwasher). A small TV, a DVD player with various DVDs and internet (free WiFi) are available in the living room.

The beach and the center of Oostkapelle are close and easy to reach on foot. Domburg is distance cycling or you should have a nice walk on the beach in less than an hour.

The house is detached and lies in a large garden. It is in a quiet location, just 1 km from the sandy beach, the nature reserves with forest and dunes.

Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir waren im Oktober 2020 mit unseren drei Kindern in Oostkapelle in diesem Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist top, sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße, großer Garten mit altem Baumbestand und man ist schnell am Strand oder im Ort. Uns hat besonders der Ausblick aus dem Haus gefallen, da es an allen Seiten des Wohnraumes hohe und großzügige Fenster hat und man daher immer in den tollen Garten schauen kann. Rund um das Haus laden gleich mehrere Terassen mit verschiedenen Sitzmöbeln zum Verweilen ein (was wir im Oktober zwar leider nicht nutzen konnten, ist aber bestimmt im Frühjahr/Sommer sehr schön). Die Küche ist sehr großzügig ausgestattet mit weitaus mehr Küchengeräten, Geschirr und Besteck als in anderen Ferienhäusern üblich. Der Vermieter war jederzeit ansprechbar, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da wir aufgrund der sich zuspitzenden Corona-Lage früher abgereist sind, hat Herr Wendt uns eine Gutschrift für die entgangenen Tage angeboten, was wir sehr kulant und großzügig fanden. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus in jeder Hinsicht weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in 2021!

Im Haus war alles Nötige vorhanden, um eine Woche Urlaub zu verbringen. Lediglich das Bad ist etwas klein, genauso die Toilette. Mit vier Personen noch machbar, mit sechs dürfte es allerdings eng werden. Die Heizung macht deutlich hörbare Geräusche während des Betriebes. Hier sollte mal nachgesehen werden. Besonders nachts (auch bei Absenkung der Temperatur) sind die Geräusche störend. Schade ist, dass der Ofen nicht funktionsfähig ist. Gerade im Winter wäre das ein ein Plus an Gemütlichkeit.

Leider hat sich schon bei der Ankuft herausgestellt, dass es in dem Haus extrem modrig und muffig riecht. Aufgrund dessen mussten wir unsere komplette Wäsche zu Hause waschen. Zudem ist die Ausstattung größtenteils abgewohnt. Die Bad- und Toilettensituation lassen sehr zu wünschen übrig und es bedarf dringend einer Kernsanierung. Zu guter Letzt ist die Heizung nachts derart laut, dass ein geruhsamer Schlaf nur möglich ist, wenn die Heizung stark runtergedreht wird. (Entsprechend kalt ist es dann am nächsten Morgen) Lage und Grundstück sind optimal, sodass man zu hoffen ist, das die Kritiken oder Anregungen der Gäste Berücksichtigung finden.

Mini - Badezimmer und Mini- Toilette , nasse Handtücher/Badetücher müssen in den jeweiligen Schlafzimmern deponiert werden, Rasieren und Schminken schwierig (kein Licht), z.T. fehlende Nachttische und Bettlampen ( Taschenlampen sind hier hilfreich) , Küchenausstattung ist z.T. unzureichend ( z.B. nur ein Eierbecher) , Heizungsanlage völlig veraltet oder nicht gewartet ?(bollert nachts, wenn sie nicht auf 15 Grad abgesenkt wird), ...

Wir haben uns in dem Haus wohl gefühlt. Schöne, ruhige Lage. Der Strand ist selbst zu Fuß noch gut erreichbar. Das Strandhaus ist ein großes Plus. Die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses ist in Ordnung. Duschbad und sep. Toilette sind klein. Das war für uns aber kein grosses Manko (2 Erwachsene, zwei Kinder). Dafür ist das Platzangebot in den Wohnräumen sehr gut. Schade, dass es keine Option auf Bettwäsche und/oder Handtücher gibt.

Wir haben einen schönen Kurzurlaub in Oostkapelle verbracht. Die Gegend und die Lage des Hauses sind sehr gut. Der Garten toll, die Ausstattung des Hauses für diese Preisklasse eher unterdurchschnittlich, aber grundsätzlich ausreichend. Ein Minigrill ist vorhanden. Wer sehr gerne grillt, wird hiermit nicht glücklich. Das Strandhäusschen ist top und macht das gesamte Angebot unterm Strich wiederum sehr attraktiv. Achtung: es gibt in diesem Haus keinen Zugang zur Waschmaschiene. Eine Waschmaschiene wird auch nicht in der Ausstattung aufgelistet, die Angaben seitens des Vermieters sind also korrekt. Da wir diesen Punkt im Vorhinein übersehen haben, weise ich an dieser Stelle darauf hin. Wir hatten für unsere drei Kinder genügend saubere Wäsche dabei und waren somit nicht hierauf angewiesen. Längere Aufenthalte mit Kindern sollten aber ggf. mit dem Vermieter abgesprochen werden. Hier lässt sich sicherlich eine Lösung finden. Ein zweiter Punkt: es gibt im Kühlschrank kein Eisfach. Dies ist wirklich ungünstig, denn somit gibt es keine Möglichkeit seine Kühltasche mit eisgekühlten Kühlakkus zu bestücken. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst und wir haben eine schöne Zeit verbracht.

Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und wirklich gut ausgestattet. Es hat einen wunderschönen Garten mit 3 Terrassen, so dass man immer die Möglichkeit hat, in der Sonne zu sitzen. Der offene Wohn-Küchen-Essbereich ist großzügig angelegt, die 3 Schlafzimmer sind zweckmäßig, aber auch nicht zu klein. Ein Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Waschbecken und ist etwas größer. Die Betten haben sehr gute Matratzen. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und ist auch mit kleinen Kindern ideal. Mit 6 Personen muss man allerdings die Benutzung des sehr kleinen Bads und der einzigen Toilette gut koordinieren. Eine Erleichterung wäre es, wenn man Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitmieten könnte. Aber das sind nur kleine Anmerkungen. Ganz toll fanden wir das Strandhäuschen, das in der Miete inbegriffen war und den Strandurlaub sehr komfortabel machte! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!
